Stayed here for 2 nights at the end of December. Rooms excellent value for money, central location, next to the river and only a few minutes walk from the shops, restaurants and bus station. It was quite chilly, but there was sufficient bedding and the...More
We booked 3 nights here stayed for two and used the middle night as safe storage for our luggage! (At £12 a night I would rather do this then leave it with reception!) we arrived late and a little frustrated after a very delayed flight!...More
We took the double bed room with view on river. It has nothing really special. The furniture makes the room a bit cozy, but it looks old and dirty. The bathroom is tragic. When you take the bath, the water flows all over the floor...More
We were there only one night as a stop over in traveling. We were the only one's there as it was off-season for backpackers.
It's not an upscale hotel but was very clean and modern for a hostel. The rooms were great (not cramped). Would...More
Ok. So this place is a dive, but if you just need a place to spend the night before catching a Lijiang River cruise in the morning, it is perfect. They picked me up from the airport late at night, served me a decent breakfast...More

Hello. I honestly do not remember. We got there about midnight and left at 7am the next morning.

I am looking at booking to stay at this hostel for around 6 nights in June. I have no queries about the quality of the accommodation but just some other queries regarding the services they provide and contact details for the hostel.
I had my reservations about visiting Guilin, and this is because of the uncertainty of how to reach the city and then get back to the airport. This worry is increased as the flight does not land in Guilin until 23:55. Also I assume that English is not widely spoken due to the more rural nature of the area although I know the main business is tourism. However, these are just assumptions. I feel reluctant to use taxis as I have never used them in China despite visiting twice before. I notice the hostel provides a shuttle to and from the airport. How would this be arranged for my inbound flight as I cannot find an email address to contact the hostel? Does anyone know of the email address?
Is the airport shuttle provided by the hostel reliable? I am worried about this as I would be flying onto Beijing afterwards on an early flight of 8am.
I also want to know about the excursions the hostel offers and the price of these. I am eager to visit the rice terraces and surrounding mountainous areas.
