Stayed here one night only. Room smelled strangeof perfume - apparently trying to cover up the smell of heavy smoking in the room. It did not work. Room smelled funny. Very spacious though. Big bed and ok bathroom. Decoration and styling like Liberace did it himself. Location quite nice. Right next to a lake and a supermarket 20 meters away.

It is in a good location. The bed was comfortable and clean. However, the room smelled like smoke, the ac did not work, the mini fridge did not work, and the room was just plain worn out and dirty. I would not recommend others stay here.

Stayed 1 night at end of a 2 week tour of mainland China before flying to Hong Kong. One of the better hotels included in the tour. Room clean, well maintained and equipped. Breakfast Western or Chinese, served in separate rooms, good selection in western side. Not all staff able to speak English, but everyone we dealt with went out...

A good hotel in ideal location for best area on our tour. Hotel has couple shops itself but others nearby. Best part is walk along river to town, please ensure you walk back as getting dusk to experience all the lights , it is spectacular, like fairyland and takes good 35 mins. Town itself is good for better shops and...

My group of 30 and I stayed here for 2 nights in January and we were very pleased. Check-in was quick and efficient! Staff was very helpful and courteous. Excellent hotel security. My room was very clean with fresh bed linens and towels. Complimentary breakfast was very, very good with a good mix of eastern and western dishes.

We had a delay checking in due to miscommunication between our booking made in Malaysia but finally disolved. The Reception was very helpful and help us to put things right. We have booked two standard rooms and were given the Lake Ronghu view. The rooms were very comfortable and the rate is very attractive. During our first stay with this...

Hard to review this hotel actually. A night of really short stay. Pleasant sleep. Room are not that spacious but sufficient for 2 pax. The best is the breakfast. Choices are great. Too many to choose. Enjoyed the breakie. Hotel isnt located in city centre. However, walking distance you can enjoy great lake view and night market. Various of food...

I really think this is a great hotel. Now, it's not the fanciest hotel but it is super nostalgic seeming, to me. Or quaint. The lobby is fine but my room looked like it was straight out of a super cute bordello (I know that's a super weird description). Lampshade with fringe on them. Some red smattered throughout. Just liked...

Con: Stayed here for 2 nights in the Queen room with breakfast. Upon check in, we were told our reservations did not include breakfast, which we started arguing. Having proof of the reservations with breakfast, the receptionist suddenly "forgot how to speak English". In the end of a lot of arguing, we got the breakfast. The hotel interior is really...

Nice hotel right next to a lake and a couple of lovely little cafe bars. We were lucky enough to stay in the newer section which was decorated with touches of ' Liberace ' Separate breakfast areas for western and eastern guests.and a small pool that was situated in the centre of the hotel so felt a bit overlooked.
