Stunning view, facilities and comfortable room. Also, in this hotel you are just a few minutes walk from the most important places in Guillin. If you are too tired of walking around, you can relxat the spa or at the swimming pool. They have a...More
We were only here for one night, but we really appreciated that it's location was so close to a lovely lake/park area as well as a pedestrian street area (Tianhe) where there were lots of shops, bars and restaurants. Our room was part of the...More
Stylish hotel and helpful staff most of whom have some English. The waterfall is a bit of a disappointment - 10 min of water cascading off one side of the roof and apparently causing a damp problem in some of the rooms. The location is...More
This is a small but wonderful hotel right on the river with stunning views. A couples perfect place. The rooms were clean and very cute. The staff there are some of the best Ive run across. So friendly and always willing to help in anyway.
Stayed here for two nights as part of the Wendy Wu tour. The room was clean and modern. Lovely shower. Breakfast was excellent and plenty of choice. Try and get a room with a view over the Lake and the Pagoda's as these look lovely...More

The answer is yes, but not close enough to walk, unless you are really a hiker. It is a congested area, busy streets and lots of traffic and people moving around. I am referring to the center of the city train station. There are two other train stations in Guilin...Guilin North and Guilin West. To travel from the train station to the hotel, the most convenient way is by taxi. It's a short ride and not much money. Here's a tip...as you exit the train station, there are MANY people offering trips to Yangshuo, the beautiful area in the mountains. They will also offer to take you to your hotel with the intention of selling you some kind of ticket or trip to Yangshuo. Walk past all those people and proceed toward the main street in front of the train station. As you go past all those people and near the street, you will see the Taxi area and the start of the line will be down to the right. Have a nice trip!

I wish I could remember what our hotel room number was! I'm so sorry. The hotel is right on the Lijiang River.....and we arrived quite late so strolled along the foreshore of the river which was lit up so prettily!! Its a great spot. The hotel was clean and modern, the breakfast was amazing, and our evening walk was just gorgeous. There were markets of some kind happening as well somewhere nearby, tho we didn't quite get there because we were tired. Even tho there was a lot happening close to the hotel, we didn't hear anything when inside our room - so I'd have to say it IS quiet! We loved it.....hope this helps!
