My partner and I checked in on the 9th October late in the evening we left 30 mins later. I have always been of the opinion that a hotel room is just a place to sleep whilst exploring the city and we never stay at expensive or plush hotels. However this place was in no uncertain terms the worst place...

A clean basic hotel with a modern feel. This is a chain hotel in China and this hotel was clean with a modern feel. It was a good value for the money. This place is a little out of the way to the main tourist attractions. It is around a 20 minute walk to them. The walk was not that...

Stayed here for a couple of nights. Room we had was quite large and very clean. Plenty of sockets. There was a kettle and tea also. Great breakfast, lots of choice. Try the pork dumplings Area was good for walking to sights and also for local buses. ATM next to the hotel that works for international cards. Pick up a...

The hotel was very nice and the room was clean and comfortable but too much smell of cigarete smoke inside the room (as everywhere in China, unfortunately). Has a good price but is more oriented to business, if you are a tourist and want to visit main attractions by yourself, it is a bit far for walking distance, need to...

This is a basic, no frills, clean room. You get bedroom slippers, towels in plastic bags, a hot kettle and tea bags. The bonus is the smell of cigarettes. There's no respect for non smoking rules in China hotels. It's like that in Malaysia too. Electrically, there are a few nice touches. USB wall charger next to bed. Multi plug...

Arrived here on the 13th and will be leaving on the 22nd. So I am at the 7th level of the hotel and yes, it is just nice for the size of 2 person. Shower is good with warm water available. Modern toilet. Bed is comfortable. However, the AC isn't working and it is hard to get ventilation; therefore we...

We stayed here for 5 nights. The standard room for 2 is a little small. We then moved to a room for 3 persons and the receptionist was kind to give us the same rate. Room is clean and value for money. We arrived past midnight and were hungry. We were told there is a tim sum restaurant just across...

After reading the reviews, we booked a couple of nights at this hotel once we arrived in Xi'An by train from Harbin. We arrived about 8:00 PM and the front desk was pretty busy, but the guy working the front desk (new night shift employee) was super friendly and working hard to minimize the wait time for everybody. We never...

I am a big fan of Jinjiang Inns in China. They are clean, have good showers, comfortable beds, good wifi. This one is a little odd as it is quite labyrinthine and it is in a weird spot, but not too far from the centre. The staff speak English and are very helpful. There are better Jinjiangs, but this one...

“Free WiFi is available but fades if you are on higher floors. Ask for 2nd floor, the signal is stronger. Ask for no smoking room too. China blocks many internet sites, such as blogs, wordpress and unfriendly towards google. So google maps will not work. Walk along Xi Yi Lu ( west 1st st ) which is just at the corner of the hotel, walk west towards Bell Tower... for about 15 mins.. do not turn left or right, just straight on...lots of restaurants to try”
