We were with Mercury Holidays on their escorted "Wonders of China" tour and found all the hotels we stayed in were of a very high standard. We spent two nights at the Ocean Hotel in Shanghai, 2 at the Tibet Hotel in Chengdu, 2 at the Titan Times Hotel in Xi-an and 4 at the Landmark Hotel in Beijing. We...

Stayed two nights as part of tour. Room on 18th floor. Shower didn't work, bath dirty, hair dryer didn't work and sockets only worked if everything turned on. Breakfast was a shambles with food running out no clean cutlery. Would not recommend this alleged four star hotel.

As the first part of our Nexus Tour we stayed at the Titan Times for 2 nights. When new, would have been a 4 star hotel (Chinese star ratings) but is now a little tired. Everything was pleasant enough with nothing to complain about --- breakfast was ok, usual western fare with eastern as well. The hotel was on a...

Stayed 2 night with my group in that clean and comfortable hotel. Most of us got suites. The view from my room was toward the beautiful square and the famous wall of the old town. The wall was illuminated at night. The Muslim quarter was close. I liked the hard beds, but it is not fits everybody. I ate only...

This is a 4 star Hotel, our twin room was a suite, plenty of room, huge single beds, lovely big bathroom. Bed was VERY hard, unable to communicate this problem to staff, ended up folding huge Doona over 4 times to ease the aches from the concrete bed, still might suit some. All accessories and very clean. No milk for...

Hotel appears to be adequate in photos, however it is dated and rooms are in need of repairs ,hotel managers are poor. Our tour group requests non-smoking floors for guests. We stayed on the 22nd floor and came in from a cultural dinner theater performance at 11:00 at night and our hall reeked of cigarette smoke. I am highly allergic...

Near the west gate of the city wall, so it has a good location to go exploring in the Muslim district and other places with a lot of history. Just be careful, and cross the streets around the traffic circle with a local.

Titan Times Hotel Xi'an 19 - 21 Jul 16 My wife and I stayed at this hotel recently as part of a Nexus tour. We had a king room which was quite large and had a separate lounge and bedroom. The room was a little dated and the bed was very hard but still comfortable, the bath room was large...

This hotel overall is good. I think we may have been a little spoiled coming to Xian after Beijing, where AC in the hotel was not an issue. Here it was, and it may not have been a hotel specific issue but something we found in restaurants as well in Xian. We had to ask first housekeeping, the engineer to...

Stayed here in June for two nights as part of Nexus tour .It was very spacious and clean ,the beds were a little harder than I was used to but did my back a world of good. The buffet breakfast was one of the best on the tour I enjoyed it very much. If I return to Xian I would...
