Tea is in great spot with Japanese theme. Restaurant great at night but appalling for breakfast. Hotel dark with overkill on Japanese then and wi fi beyond bad which killed it for me. Great concept but needs a spark. If you are boutique it needs to be spot on or better of in large five stars near by

On the positive side, the room was comfortable and spacious and the staff were very nice. The hotel is near the Baochu Pagoda and you could easily take a bus to Linyin Temple, which is a must see, amazing place. On the negative side, the breakfast was blah with very few options for vegetarians, not the spread we have experienced...

This hotel has a really stylish look with lots of raw wood, nice lighting, plants in the hallways and great beds.. BUT be prepared to be woken up at 7am with the sounds of hammers and crashing glass from the construction site immediately behind the hotel. It seems the work is just beginning--it's basically still a shell of a building....

Stayed one night in the newer location of Tea Boutique Hotel in Hangzhou and could not be more impressed. First, we arrived by taxi and were dismayed to find we had been driven to the wrong location. Our reservations were for the newer location of the hotel on the northwest side of Westlake. The manager, Mr. Jerrod, not only immediately...

It is already our family tradition to stay in Tea hotel. This place has its great qualities (few flaws too, but definitely doesn't deasearve a rating below average). The best feature is the bed. One of the best beds I ever slept in. The decor is beautiful and very calming. I appreciate the complimentary tea and tiger spring water. The...

This calm hotel has nice, stylish, decoration, well done but not expensive, it has all the amenities you need in the room, everything works and we had a comfortable bed, quiet, large room not facing the street, third floor. We didn't ask for any extras or try the restaurant. Location is kind of close to some West Lake temples, and...

In all the time we have travelled to different hotels in the world. Never was charged for laundry bag. They charged us an exorbitant amount for the same. Then after clearing the bill. They called us back because they for got to charge us another 30 rmb. The room has small issues. The wash basin didn't function well. Lot of...

We appreciated every aspect of this hotel, and I would rate it as one of the best I have stayed in in 30 years of visiting China. It may not be for everyone if you prefer the flash of international style hotels, but this place has real personality without sacrificing comfort. The attached restaurant is also exceptional. We found the...

Stayed 3 nights here in April 2016. Very impressed with the use of wood in its décor, at the front reception and in the guest room. As a boutique hotel, it does a good job in paying attention to little details. There is a little coffee corner at the Library area on the 2nd floor. The staff allowed me to...

Our choice to stay at The Tea Boutique was price specific and due to its location being close to West Lake. Consequently we do not have specific complaints but there were one or two aspects that might have improved our experience. Our room was quite generous with king bed and separate sitting space. The bathroom was small with a small...
