Stayed in this hotel for one night on a tour and it was around 1 1/2 hour drive from Chitose Airport. As my mom has weak legs, we specially requested for a room which was not tatami as she would not be able to get out of bed on her own. Our room was western style and very spacious with...

We wanted to stay at this hotel for one reason solely: it has a lagoon world for our little daughter, and too our surprise it was pretty good! Our family had a good time at the lagoon and the onsen before dinner. The dinner itself was an enjoyable buffet, the dining hall was spacious. Although the room we stayed in...

We stayed at main building in room On 9th floor..Booked non smoking room but room was with smoking smell. Window opening was small and full of dirt .. Cannot see view clearly. Room was too hot to sleep at night as air conditioner not functioning properly. We asked hotel personnel and their said hotel was full and that why air...

We stayed here one night so cannot give a very full review of the hotel. We stayed at a non-smoking room on 15/F in the main building (主館) which is having a view of the mountain. The room is a Japanese and western style max, meaning there is an area with Japanese style flooring and table that you sit on...

From outside the hotel looks like a hospital. It's massive but aged. You can see how many people are there during breakfast and dinner time - the restaurant can accomodate 700 people. The buffet meal is average, which is expected in such a massive resort. The room is not well heated, but the bedding is comfortable and warm. The water...

Jozankei view has indeed a great view, especially from the rooftop Onsen. For the price, this is well worth a visit. Rooms are a bit small but not oppressively so, just Japanese standard and thus a little smaller that European rooms. The whole place is glittery and airy with lots of glass, gold and typical Japanese prints on the walls....

We were booked there for 2 days, but could suffer only one night there ( and to be honest wanted to quit as soon as we arrived there). We changed rooms 3 times, first it was a stinky small room in the old building, next two in ( they call it ) new building. The disgusting smell of smoke was...

Travel agencies often offer special discounted overnight stays that include breakfast and all day access to the water park lagoon. Rooms are small and very basic so don't expect any frills. The hotel has a number of hotels serving various types of food. We had dinner in the western style restaurant and found the food fair. In our experience, however,...

We went on a day trip to Jozankei View Hotel in early May during the Golden Week. Me & my wife had fun at the swimming lagoon area, especially at the wave pool and the dead sea pool - esp the feeling of floating on water. We could also enjoy the sauna & outdoor onsen (beside the swimming lagoon) together....

The hotel has a very large area of pool and spa, complete with waterslides and flowing pool, and your children will love it. But apart from that, we think there is little reason to stay at this hotel. The hotel is very big and consists of two buildings. The main building is older, and its rooms, cheaper than the annex,...
