We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The location from the Sapporo train station is not too far, but requires around 15 minutes good walk. You can either walk on the surface or underground. The latter is a good alternative in the middle of cold winter, however, we found walking on the surface is somehow quicker and nicer. The...

I was here with my family for a four night stay in October and find this property to be an adequate hotel in meeting a basic tourist’s needs. The location, though not immediate to a subway station (that’s located one block away) is however, accessible by the airport easily as the airport shuttle bus stops just behind Okura at the...

Full service hotel with distinctive decor, rare in any hotel. Japanese, Chinese, and continental restaurants. Well located in downtown, close to excellent shopping in Mitsukoshi department store. Not the newest or largest hotel in town but very comfortable and distinctive.

My first experience in hotel Okura. The room is spacious. I arrived at the hotel at 11:30am but the check in time is 2 so I had to walk around and wait. It's very convenient and it's about 3 mins away from shopping street. There is coffee machine inside the room and they offered me a welcome drink for joining...

We booked a non-smoking room for family of three. Our room overlooked a small roof-top garden. -Tub/shower/carpet/chairs were clean and spotless; -Room had no residual smoking smell (sometimes we book non-smoking only to get a room who had a smoker previously in it); and -Easy access to a Odori Park and Susukino. Wifi was complimentary and with decent strength, although...

There is an underground passage connecting three station together There is several department store around the hotel such as Parco, Mitsukoshi, Takashimaya, Marui Mai....

hotel okura saporo is just 5 min walk to the shopping street, near nijo market, you can enjoy nice fresh market over there. The hotel room is nice, convenient location, good customer service, room is spacious and the price is reasonable. But there is no free parking even you are hotel guest, you have to park at nearby at 1500yen...

The location beats all - its right next to the Odori stop (easy access to mass-transit everywhere), Odori park (awesome in the summer - festivals every weekend), and a quick walk to Sapporo station (to get anywhere else in Hokkaido) The amenities are slightly worn, but not unpleasantly so. The staff is *very* friendly

Plus: 1) Located in a quieter part of town. 5-10 mins walk from Susukino and the shopping areas. Safe to walk. 2) Big rooms 3) Staff are very attentive and they sincerely try very hard to help 4) Water pressure is very very strong 5) Right outside the hotel are 24 hr convenience stores and plenty of places to eat...

Great location. Very attentive service by all staff at any level. Rooms large for Japanese standard. Strong and plentyful hot water. Strangely offering twin beds only, but they can be easily joined. Heating works by way or air conditioning which is not my favourite. Quite dry at night. Did not try the restaurant. Highly recommended.
