We booked this as it was convenient to the station and for bus - very handy. The room was small but had all the facilities that we wanted. We didn't eat at the hotel as there were so many restaurants around. As we were early they held our luggage for us and put it in the room waiting for us.

A tiny business type hotel a five minute walk from the station . We arrived early so couldn't check in but by the evening return they had brought our bags to the room. Lovely staff especially as we had booked for a public holiday the city was booked out. The room a standard small business hotel size with step up... More

This hotel is only a 5 minute walk away from Hiroshima Station and is surrounded by a lot of restaurants. There is also a supermarket at the train station so is easily accessible. The rooms are a bit old and I noticed a stain on the wall of the bathroom in my room. The TV only offers shows on Japanese... More

The hotel is across the street from the Hiroshima station. To the city center and A-bomb memorial park is 20 min walk. Wifi was working OK in the rooms. If I understood correctly there is some new/renovated part of the hotel. Rooms are old, but seem to be clean. The hotel is overlooking two busy streets, so I asked for... More

I visited Hiroshima during Silver week and so most of the hotels in the area were fully booked out. This hotel isn't anything fancy, but for the price you pay, it's pretty worth it. It's about 1-2 minutes walk from the hiroshima trams and JR station, making this place really really convenient! If you want , you can also walk... More

We were a little apprehensive given some of the reviews on this site, but needed a place that was close to the train station, as we only had a day, after arriving from Hakata early morning, visiting Miyajima that same morning to catch high tide by 9:30am and then seeing some of the sights in Hiroshima before having to catch... Average business hotel. Perfectly comfortable. Clean room with ensuite bathroom. Very close to the train station so was convenient when I arrived in Hiroshima late at night. Breakfast was below average - i would not recommend getting it. Staff were very friendly but no English was spoken at this hotel.

I stayed at this hotel in July 2006 (I put November 2011 due to not being able to set an earlier date through the site), and while the rooms were quite basic its helpful staff and location were both beneficial. The price was also quite reasonable, so overall Green Hotel provided an adequate accommodation for a few nights.

The front desk was very friendly upon arrival, more so than other cities we have been to in Japan. The hotel is located close to the train station, so you can walk to it. The staff was very helpful with suggestions on planning the itinerary for the day. We went to Miyajima on the JR line using the rail pass... More

The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room didn't have any windows and was very basic with a small double bed, but was clean and functional. Japanese night attire was a nice touch! We paid 800yen each per day for breakfast which was lovely, as was the dining room which overlooked the main street! The location was fantastic,... More
