The hostel is a few stops on the tram line from JR Hiroshima and easy to find. Staff were very friendly. We booked a private twin room, which was traditional Japanese style tatami room. Spacious with aircon, futon was comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was the way it felt like a university dormitory- lots of serial travellers and... More

Stayed one night in September as a couple. Well run place catering primarily to the backpacking crowd. If you're looking for a quiet place to rest this isn't it. If you are outgoing and like to meet other young travellers then this is your place. It was pretty noisy until 10pm when the quiet time begins although people were still... More

Location is OK, 30 min by tram to station but it is very close to Peace Park. Hard to find without a map. No elevator in the building. Facilities are OK for what you pay. Japanese style room with A/C.

staff are nice and helpfull with everything the price is standard as in every gh in hiroshima and the location is good, around a 15 minutes walk to the nightlife area and 5 minutes to the Atomic bomb museum. Daily cleaning, and a kitchen with everything you need, a bit small common area, but with a great atmosphere, and they... More

Myself and my partner stayed in this hostel for 2 nights in a private Japanese style double room on the 4th floor. On our floor there were 2 toilets and sinks which we shared and on the 3rd floor was a shower room with shampoo and soap provided. The hostel had a convenient location, the tram network is very good... More

Friendly staff, big spacious, nicely presented japanese style double bedrooms and shared showers weren't an issue as there are a few and they were kept clean. Nice location next to the peace memorial park and close to team stops. Great Hiroshima style okonomyaki place round the corner as you approach the local stop.

It has been many years since I last stayed in a hostel. I was really surprised by how good this one was. It was recommended by a friend, who is considerably younger than me and more up for 'roughing it' than I am. However, the private rooms, Japanese style, and really well equipped kitchen area allow you a bit more... More

Its a really nice place to stay in Hiroshima. The staff is always friendly and helpful, the rooms properly airconditioned (which you need during Japanese summertime), and tidy. The floors are laid with tatami which contributes to a more japanese experience. Also, the hostel is situated close to the a bomb dome, memorial park and museum. On top of that,... More

This location is close to the Peace Park but a little far from the train station (the sister Hana Hostel, near the station, has the opposite problem). This makes day exploring convenient while any trips involving the JR Line and the age-old "where do we leave the luggage now?" question a little more involved (this happened when we went to... More

Stayed here for a few nights in June in a Japanese-style dorm room which was definitely a great choice. Even though the people you were sharing the room with were sleeping right next to you, there is a privacy screen between you so it didn't feel all that weird. The futon mattress and other bed linen were comfy, you had... More
