Stayed here during Golden Week The room was standard but spotlessly clean and cheap. A breathtaking view of Akashi Bridge and sea from the room and the dining room. The breakfast was good value at 2000¥. Lots of healthy options including red and green smoothies. Plenty of grilled seafood and the Western staples of egg, sausage and bacon. Staff were...

Hotel Maiko Villa has the great view overlooking Osaka Bay, Harima nada sea, and the Pacific. It is a popular place for family vacation and wedding celebration. The room is spacious and amenities is plenty. Ice cube is available for free every floor. Dinner and breakfast is plentiful and tasty. Truly comfortable and relaxing.

Hotel is close to Maiko station and Shopping outlet marine pia. There is a free shuttle to and from the station and a more limited one to the shopping outlet. We stayed for one night in a twin room which was very spacious and clean and had a nice view of Akashi Kaikyo bridge which is lit up at night....

Stayed here for a night last weekend. The room was modern and clean and offered a wonderful view of the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge. It was also a less than 10 minute walk from Maiko Station (which serves both the Sanyo Electric Railway and Sanyo JR train lines) making it a good location for people wanting to reach places in Kobe,...

It has a nice view but decoration is rather old, not inviting. The rooms are spacious for a hotel in Japan. Restaurant in the evening also has a good view of the bridge and it is nice to watch it, food is good. But breakfast restaurant is terrible. You have to wait long queues. You are as if eating in...

If you are traveling to Kobe for the first time and wanting to see attractions around the city, this hotel is not for you. However, if you’re going more for a relaxed, away from urbanization vacation route, you won’t be disappointed at what Maiko Villa has to offer in terms of its views. The resort is a 30-minute train ride...

The view of Akashi-Kaikyo Bridge (Akashi Channel Bridge) and Awaji Island from this hotel is excellent!! The morning buffet breakfast of the hotel is also great as there are many Japanese cuisine (Washoku) selections. Ikanago-no-Kugini, which is carameled sand lance (small fish), Curry with octopus, and Shirasu-boshi (cooked and dried white bait, or dried young sardines) are a must to...

Be prepared you are a long way from Kobe City - half hour by train, so you are a little captive to the area. We never had dinner at the Hotel but there are some nice restaurants just a 5 minute taxi ride away, we found one particularly good Kobe beef restaurant (by hotel recommendation) just a 800Yen ride away....

Location: About 10 minutes walk from Maiko station. The hotel is outstanding, so I didn't lost the way. Room: I have stayed in Japanese style room. No problem was found in the room. Free Wifi was available. Large public bath locates in the basement floor. Restaurant: I ate only breakfast, but it was enough and tasty. View from the room:...
