I would recommend this hotel & I do not regret my stay although there is some points to mention.
- Far from city center (30 mins tube)

Stayed for a meeting three nights. Location very close to convention center and great for business and work, but not for visiting kyoto. Nice park close by to walk around. No gym for a hotel this large. Restaraunts and room service close early. Staff speak...More
Excellent value if booked through expedia or other similar agencies, otherwise expensive if booked directly. Other users said it was far, but it is actually conveniently located near a subway stop (last north stop on the Karasuma line). You only travel four extra stops on...More
Take subway from Kyoto Station to Kokusaikaikan (K01) station then take exit 4a to hotel. Efficient English speaking reception. Our room in the top floor was spotless, had a glorious view to mountains, two large comfortable beds on which fresh cotton sheets were provided daily....More
Most reviews said this place was ages out of town, but it was only a 15 minute subway train from Kyoto station, and after the hustle and bustle of sightseeing all day it's nice to get out of the city and see trees outside your...More

Hot springs and historic temples characterize the leafy landscapes of Northern Kyoto. Acres of tranquil residential streets are interrupted by some of Kyoto's most gorgeous architectural gems, including the majestic Golden Pavilion of Kinkakuji, the serene artistry of the Ryoanji Temple rock gardens, and the bold red paint across the structures of Enryakuji Temple. Once a religious core of the city, the
district now boasts some of its most remote and peaceful hot springs, as well as a few of its best family-run mom-and-pop restaurants. A blend of extremely local at its outskirts, and highly peopled at its tourist centers, Northern Kyoto nonetheless retains a halcyon air in harmony with nature.

The nearest subway station is "Kokusai Kaikan Station" which is the terminal station of Subway Karasuma-Line.
It takes 20 minutes from Kyoto station to Kokusai Kaikan station.
We are waiting for your stay.
