This was probably our least favorite hotel on our visit to Japan. They are undergoing renovations so it is a little noisy and not as clean as other hotels. Wifi did not work in our room, and I believe it is inconsistent throughout the hotel....More

New Miyako is perfect for those travel with Shinkansen as the location is just 5-8 minutes away from Shinkansen exit. The service is good (but you may find lots of Group tour at the Lobby which might make loud noise, just chill out the staff...More

It's a huge hotel and lovely, but also very popular so almost permanently full. Why not try one that is even closer to the Kyoto station at Ibis Style. It is not as fancy, but clean and comfortable.
