We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Kyoto for 3 nights as part of a 9 day trip thru Japan. The service at the Hyatt Kyoto is superb. It starts with a complimentary taxi ride available from the Kyoto Station to the hotel. You go across the street from the station to the MK Taxi office and they take you for...

Everything about this hotel was wonderful except the concierge's advice for restaurants which were absolutely terrible. The hotel is located in a nice part of town, walking distance to Gion, Kiyumizudera, Higashiyama, Museum etc. The rooms are comfortable and pleasant and have everything you need. The breakfast was very good and the whole ambiance in the hotel was wonderful. The...

Hyatt in Kyoto is modern and bright hotel, located just a bit outside of city center, but I believe this is a plus, as you can stay in a quiet surrounding, still being very close to the city. Just on the other side of the street you can find National Museum and 50 meters from the hotel is outstanding temple...

Booked last minute through the app the hotel also did their best with an early check in request. Beautiful room with views over temple roofs and the hills. The Japanese restaurant was superb and accommodated late bookings, fine cuisine snd wine. Location is a little away from the centre but a short walk down the hill brings you to Keihan...

Stayed here for five nights. Very modern and minimalist. Perefectly located. 15 min walk to the main Kyoto station. Opposite the Kyoto museum. Is within walking distance of the picturesque Higashiyama area. Very helpful staff. Didn't eat here but enjoyed the bar.

Every staff member is service oriented and go the extra mile to make guests feel special & welcomed. This definitely feels like luxury hotel, I'd recommend it to families and business travelers going to Kyoto.

Great customer service, reasonable location, staff are very attentive and willing to help with any requests. However room is basic, and lacking some basic essentials - examples: cheap shampoo and conditioner, no milk, no iron. Gym was difficult to access, but well equiped. Breakfast is expensive but quite good.

The overall impression is that this Hotel is true to the traditional feel that distinguishes Kyoto so clearly from the more modern Tokyo. The rooms is compact but very homely and comfortable. The effective use of the available space is remarkable. Staff, breakfast and cleanliness on high and pleasant standard. Although it feels somewhat removed from the city centre we...

We booked 2 rooms for a family trip. The king balcony on the top floor (5th) is spacious with a nice lounge, stunning decor and aspect over the garden. The bathroom is magnificent with a wet area and large timber bath. The service is friendly, traditional and impeccable. Thank you Jen Lee and the Hyatt Kyoto team for a memorable...
