Don't stay here unless you have no other choice. Unfriendly staff, old hotel, the deco of the room and hotel environment just makes u feel so uncomfortable. Located beside the expressway makes the stay worse as you can still hear the car's noise during the night.

Very old like out fashion hostel. Basic facilities with stains. Only one outlet in room. Asked frond desk for patch board but was told JAPANESE ONLY and rudely hanged up my call! Location is 10 mins walk to 道頓崛 which is ok. NEVER BOOK this place unless you have to.

Location was generally central, 5-10min walk to the busy walking street & shopping belt (Shin Sai Bashi). Problem with the hotel is ALL ROOMS R SMOKING ROOMS. Ask for diffuser from front desk to 'de-smoke' the room. Another issue with the hotel is there was only ONE power socket point in the single room. Imagine having to get all your...

We spent 2 nights in this hotel and were disappointed. The location is not so convenient as you are not close from a big station (Namba 20min), so with heavy luggage it is quite painful... Moreover there is a very bad smell in the front office room and elevators. The rooms are clean and well equipped (they seem to have...

I believe because during my visit, it was the peak period to visit Japan. Most of the affordable hotels were fully booked. When I was searching for a reasonable priced accommodation, I found this one which offered me SGD 86 per night (most of the hotels were offering at SGD 100 plus per night). Very sad to say as well...

We were not impressed by this room unfortunately. The room was terribly dated. Cigarette smoke was overpowering as soon as you were in the corridor & invaded through the air conditioner. The beds were uncomfortable with the worst pillow I have ever experienced. The bathroom was cold with basic/ poor amenities. There was a kettle provided but no tea/coffee cups...

There are better hotels out there for an equivalent price if you book earlier. Hotel Aldebaran was in the midst of renovations to their frontage when we checked in. There is no clear signage to indicate the hotel, and the name on the door is in fact wrong. "Keito" was the name, and luckily we had images of the hotel...

My cousin and me stayed at the Aldebaran in March 2011 for 10 days. On first impressions it looked run down and had an odd smell in reception. The rooms were not very impressive either, they were old and stunk of cigarettes. There was a restaurant but it wasn't actually open for business. It wasn't too far from the train...
