We were pleased with our room on our first 2 days in Osaka and decided to continue our stay when we return after touring kyoto. Upon our return we were given a room half the size of the original and charged the same price! There's no more prefab bathroom with bath tub but the tiniest bathroom with a toilet bowl...

Osaka was the second trip we were making in the three weeks. I booked this hotel having cancelled another in the city. The price was very cheap for a four night stay. After taking the subway from Namba to Awaza, we managed to get to the hotel with no problem from the instructions. A very efficient check-in leads us to...

It's quite tiny for a double room, very clean though. Only has wifi at ground floor which makes it not very convenient. It's good for couples or small families. Close to train station and the city. Very friendly and helpful staffs. If you don't require a high standard hotel and want to save some $ $ $ this would be...

Is near JR station, only one min walking distance, convenient! Whenever back to hotel after a full day trip, sure will go to its free spa for relaxation. Since the spa have separate different schedule for men and women, so both my friend and I will back to hotel around 10pm for spa, and take shower there, after all back to...

They gave us a room with 2 semi double bed for 2 people which I was VERY happy about that! Room was very reasonable size for japan hotel! (Bigger than some of the hotels I've stayed in japan, so I'm actually very happy about it) location is only few second away from Awaza station (it's not even 1 min) away!!...

I just went to Osaka on October last year. It is great to stay at this hotel during my visits. I am addicted with the local style breakfast and free onsen. For room, it is quite cosy and comfortable with attached bath room.

Don't let the "new" in the name fool you. The New Oriental Hotel is an older hotel but the location is good as it is midway between the Kita (north) commercial area of Umeda/Osaka and the south (minami) commercial area of Namba. The closest train station to New Oriental Hotel is Awaza station which is a leisurely 3 minute walk....

Pros So very close to Awaza Station of the Chuo Line. It is a skip and a hop away.  There is a Family Mart (a convenience store) close by. A lifesaver when you dont have energy to go out to dinner. Their bento meals are decent enough. This hotel is located in a business district so it is relatively quiet...

We managed to find our way to the hotel without problems nad although the room was very small it was no surprise, we had expected that. Once we forgot our camera somewhere, thought we had lost it, but the friendly staff in the reception had taken good care of it when we forgot it on the counter while checking in,...

Not so easy by train from the airport if you are first timer to Osaka . The train to Namba station is easy enough but finding the subway line to the hotel was a problem and the station was huge and language was a problem. I had done my research prior to that and knew the name of the line...
