This is a cheap hotel not far from Osaka's main train station, we walked from there in ten to fifteen min. The room was basic with old fittings but clean. The free wifi worked well. Staff were reserved but helpful, the night staff speak good English as they are from somewhere in the Indian subcontinent. There is free coffee in...

I really disliked this hotel. The staff were wooden and unapproachable. My room was tiny and despite being a non smoking room, I was still getting the wafts from the smokers placed in rooms next to me. Given the size of this hotel I'm not sure why they don't segregate smoking and non smoking rooms. I asked for an extra...

The business hotel is nearby Umeda station. Its easy to access via the underground shopping street (Whity Umeda) North Mall 2 exit, from here to reach the hotel in less than 10 min. Although there is red light district along the way leading to the hotel, but as tourists we were never been disturbed. There are plenty of restaurants &...

Check in time is at 1 pm and you must check out at 10am. You can store your luggage at their front counter before you are allowed to check in the hotel. Very low storey, we got our room labeled as 14xx but is actually at level 4 maximum floor is around 8-9 storey. Small rooms and limited space in...

Hotel Kansai is cheap, very basic and rooms are tiny. My single room was smaller than a tiny caravan with no wardrobe and little space to put an average sized suitcase anywhere. The single bed was uncomfortable and no extra pillows were available. The ensuite had the basics but nowhere to put toiletries and no bidet as available in most...

This hotel is so bad that I purposely reactivated my dormant TripAdvisor account just to leave a review here. While the front lobby looks decent, the rooms were horrible. I first had the bad feeling the moment I saw the room door. It looked like the door to the store room of my grandma's house. The room smelled and felt...

Front desk is nice... but rooms are small, dirty and the type of customer that stays there is not who I would want to be around especially as a parent and teacher. Location was too near strip joints and bars.

The room is definitely dated but I only paid a little more than $60/night for a semi-double room so I can't complain about that. The hotel is minutes away from Osaka and Umeda Stations which is what I look for when I book a hotel. The heater broke while I was there but I gave it a very good rating...

If you are from the U.S., this is on par with some of the worst you can stay in. The worst is the intense mildew smell. It looks dirty. No view out the window. The bathroom was clean, however. I hear it is cheap, but we were on a group tour. They do have beer and water in vending machines.

I've stayed here a few times over the past few years, and while it's not The Westin, it's the best value in Osaka and there's an excellent breakfast buffet that keeps me coming back. This is my go-to hotel when I fly into Kansai Airport, and I always send my rental Wi-Fi device to be picked up here as well....
