Hotel Osaka Granvia is a nice place to stay. Its location is truly superb. Osaka Train Station is just beneath the hotel. Just take the elevator and you are there. You can go anywhere. Japan Rail Office is also within the area, if you are to exchange your Japan Rail Pass. There are also big shops around the corner. Dotonbori... More

Really, really, hard bed. No gym. Small, tired room. Should be ok if you're cool with the above. But to me, the convenience of its location (saving a 10min cab ride in the morning) just isn't worth it. Checked out after one night, then checked right into the Intercontinental.....

Location: excellent, that's what you're paying $$$ for. Service: not too bad. Housekeeping excellent and responsive. Room: bit tired but standard for Japanese hotels in the heart of town. I've stayed in much better rooms for less though. If you can get the Granvia floor for under ¥21000 per night, definitely book that. Bathroom: clean, minor mould in ceiling grout,... More

Located in Osaka Station, bus dropped us off about two blocks away, once settled shopping, restaurants were downstairs, got rail pass to star our journey next day. Starbucks located floor above lobby. Got packages sent out and sent one of our luggage to Tokyo through bell desk. Room was quiet. Wifi available.

If you want closeness to the Osaka train station, this will do it. Literally on top of the station. However, my room was miniature, even for Japan. Room was worn and too warm. There are many better hotels just a short walk away.

This hotel is located in the main Osaka Station and can be a bit tricky to find. This is due to the mammoth size of the station but there are signs to the hotel so keep your eyes open. The staff were excellent and very friendly.

Our stay at Hotel Granvia Osaka was good, primarily because of its location, which is adjacent to the Osaka Station (with direct connections to Kansai Airport, Universal Studios and Kyoto). There are a lot of shopping malls nearby, including a Pokemon Store and Uniqlo, as well as good restaurants. There is a 7-11 and Eki Marche at the ground floor/B1... More

Excellent location close to shopping district and to the Umeda Sky Building Observatory. The room was clean and well maintained. But - too small for a couple - too noisy due to close railway station. Personnel was unfriendly in the over crowded lobby. Glad that we just stayed one night there !

This hotel is connected with the JR Osaka station. I booked this hotel for my business trip due to its location and my positive past experience in other Granvia hotels. But this time, my stay was disaster. 1. The Corridor of the 21th floor smelled musty. It is not welcoming. 2. I accept the size of the room but I... More

This hotel is very centrally located above the railway, which is super convenient. The actual hotel is very high up in the building, so the railway noise isn't an issue. Be aware that check-in is definitely not until 3pm, but the staff will care for bags when you arrive earlier. Clean and fairly modern, with several expensive restaurants and one... More
