We stayed at the hotel using Starwood Points and it was well worth the points charged. Some nice touches: Japanese robe, free newspaper, and -- unexpectedly --free internet! We were on a JR Railpass, and none of the reviews nor hotel website told us exactly how to get there. We went ot the Osaka rail station tourist information and received...

We (my two girls aged 9 months and 6 years, au pair and my self) stayed at the Miyako Osaka hotel in April, 2005 during our Japan tour. The location is excellent - in the middle of town near all the attractions - walking distance to Osaka Castle, as must see!

I really enjoyed the Miyako hotel in Osaka. The location was very conveniently located to the Osaka metro, the rooms were comfortable (temperature was nice, the beds had nice fluffy duvets, and the decor was minimalist, but pleasant), and the service was good. Considering this was my first trip to Japan and my first destination of that trip, I must...

Dear All, I'm writting from the lobby of the hotel for this review. Location is amazing, 2 station from shopping and entertainment called Namba (150yen). The hotel is above Kintetsu train station for inter city travel to Nara, Kyoto etc using Kintetsu not JR line. Another plus, Metro (subway) line and airport KIX 1300Yen shuttle bus are right outside like...

Compared to the other hotels we stayed in during our trip to Japan, this hotel had by far the best service and ammenities. It was clean, well decorated, the staff was very helpful and spoke excellent English. The rooms were large based on my experience with Japanese hotels and had the usually amenities - fridge, hot H20 pot, tea, Jukata...

I was happy with the Miyako hotel, a Radisson affiliate. The public areas of the hotel are fine. I found the staff helpful and they helped me with local travel etc. The bell hop was courteous. There are several restaurants in the hotel if you want to make use of them - but they are pricier then local restaurants. In...

In recent years the Radisson hotels in Japan, especially in Tokyo and Narita, have offered surprising good value for money. That is why I chose to stay at the Miyako in Uehomachi, a Radisson "affiliate." If you've had the pleasure of staying or dining at the Miyako in Tokyo, be forewarned that this Osaka hotel is not a clone of...

I stayed at Miyako in October 2004. The hotel has very convenient shuttle service to/from the KIX airport. It is very easy to move around the city because there are two subway lines departing from the hotel's basement floor. There is a shopping mall next to the hotel, and even a few restaurants in the hotel basement so there is...
