Spent one night at this hotel. Charming but definitely not one I'd recommend. The decor looks like it's from the 80's and you are immediately hit by a musty smell in the lobby that gets stronger in the elevator. Thankfully didn't follow to the rooms. I had a western style room but other travelers tell me they had tatami mats... More

The hotel was very near the train station. However, it is a very difficult hotel to find if you are driving there. You first have to turn into a very very narrow road and the parking is extremely small and cramp. As we rented a Toyota Wish, it was a bit of an issue trying to drive in and out... More

The Nagasaki Hotel Ihokan is as perfectly located as any hotel could be in relation to what a traveler needs and wants in Nagasaki -- but that is not what makes it special.
