Rooms were spacious, but the elevators were extremely slow. 1 elevator was out of order and the hotel was busy. Often had to wait 15 minutes in line in the lobby waiting for elevators. Location is good, near transportation and banks. Not a lot of food nearby.
Had a lovely four-day stay at this hotel. Rooms have a good size, aircon is silent and the beds are super. Absolutely no streetnoise, which is important with a mosque and a busy market nearby. There is a rooftop bar at the swimmingpool, but for dinner you have to go out on the street. We highly recommend Java An-Nar opposite from the hotel. They serve delicious authentic Malay food, but they close around 20.30 hrs. Also very good is Alhufra about 200 metres to the left. Their fresh homemade hummus with pita bread and a lassi is yummie.
I stayed at the two KL Hilton Garden Inn hotels during Christmas period because other Hilton hotels were expensive during the festival season. The two Garden Inn hotels (Garden Inn North and Garden Inn South) are located almost side-by-side. South is more expensive than North and it has a bar and swimming pool at the rooftop which North does not have. I had stayed at other Garden Inn hotels in Phuket and Seoul before and they were quite nice so I thought these two Garden Inns should be ok but I was quite shocked when I stayed at North for the first night. The room looked dirty (a lot of dirt on the carpet and the walls) and the lift was not functioning well. The location was convenient, however do note that there are a lot of budget hotels nearby. Garden Inn South is much better than North and the guest room was cleaner. The rooftop bar is great and has spectacular view of KL city especially at night. If you are an Hilton Honor Diamond member, do ask for a KL Tower view room but do not expect any other privileges such as welcome drink, etc.…
Check in and my check out by David was swift. The 08 series room has a good view of the KLCC. Space is OK for 1 or 2 people. Good size bath. Everything runs well: AC, Internet, hot water. Breakfast spread was OK for budget range hotel. They served nasi lemak, nasi goreng, pasta, mee bandung and pastry. Also they serve good tasting coffee @ latte. Mr Mohan, Mr Calvin and Mr Rahman did a great job in managing this property. They were super friendly and attentive. Kudos to Mr Daniel too. By the way, they now have valet assist parking. Overall my stay was good. Thank you.
I had to downgrade the room at the time of checkin, because the room as per my booking had issues like smell and other issues. Staff are not proactive on such issues. Room was also not so clean. Bath room fittings need maintenance. I'll never stay in such hotel and will not recommend others also.
The staff in this hotel really made my stay as a senior citizen a worthwhile positive experience. Highly recommended if visitor wants a place away from the madding touristy crowd. Location wise interesting and historical.
The hotel was a disaster. The check in queue was a long wait as there was only minimum staff available. The was no king sized bed, the breakfast was mediocre , the Internet was intermittent while the carpark was only with very limited lots and it is not complimentary.
Had breakfast for 6 Pax at Makan Kitchen on 28/11. Amazing amazing service by our server Amin and Fery (sorry if I spelt it wrong). Love the food selection from Chinese to Malaysian, Indian and Western. Thank you for the birthday surprise and the quite seating for 6pax. Coming from someone who is also part of the Hilton family. (Hilton KL Sentral) Thank you Hilton Garden Inn 🫶🏻
Comfortable stay, nice and warm welcoming staff during check-in also thanks for the upgrade to room assigned with KL Twin Tower View. I really appreciate it for 2 nights stay also bed was comfy and clean
Pros : Price is attractive, near LRT which goes to bukit bintang (4 stops). Grab is cheap to go anywhere. Near a super old market and can buy fruits anytime. A supermarket is also nearby along the walk to the LRT (5mins). Bed is comfy. Cons : Room is not really soundproof as can hear talkings at corridor from room. Bathroom shower area has no door so the toilet can get wet. Room is not exactly like the photo which i had chosen. No Chinese food nearby except for malay stalls. Room has a stale smell from aircon and my room has sound from the aircon. Pillow is super low and soft (neck pain). Queen size bed only so will be squeeze if body size is big.
