Had a party in their private dining room. Service was excellent and food is delicious . The manager on duty was so helpful and attentive. Ambiance is nice and comfortable. Definitely will visit again 😍
Quintessential boutique hotel. Nice lounge and dining ambience. Decent room. Walking distance to town/attractions along one of the main roads, Jalan Sultan Ismail. Comfortable bed. The only issue is they don't have enough parking space. Check in and out takes slightly longer than expected.
Stayed there for 4 nights. We stayed in the the Den room. The room was a little small to fit 2 large suitcases and 1 carry on. The hotel had options for a room without windows and we specifically booked a room that has a window, but the windows were frosted so there was not much of a view outside or nautral light coming through. The aesthetic of the room was very pleasing, lots of blue and green which I love. During the day, the room was abit too dark I feel. The room has several built in travel adapter plugs which I found to be really useful. They also had a filtered water refill station by the lift if you needed more water. The hallways and lift area felt a little eery in the late evening due to the dimmer vibes. The stuff were very friendly and helpful. We had to get to the airport early at 7am and couldn't get anyone to accept our grab booking, a staff helped us book one and went out of her away to make sure the driver was on his way to us.…
Over expectations I guess I expected luxury but got no big deal. Over rated by the press. First no bell man to get your bags no doorman to open the door reception under staffed did not know about how to pay for parking as guests get no free parking at the car park. No bellman to help take luggage to your room huh? No hot water kettle in the room usb ports lacking bath room no place to hang clothes. Restaurant loud and not separated from front desk. Food not bad ok my breakfast tasted like rusted iron as the cast iron had rust on it so the eggs tasted like rust. My room RM500 over priced rather stay at ELSE hotel in China town very high standard.
This hotel was formally a Tune Hotel, which is part of Air Asia. It has now rebranded as the Chow Kit. We had a great time at this hotel for four nights. Close to the monorail station which can take you to other connection points so that you can catch trains all over KL. It was only two stops from Bukit Bintang which is kind of the nightlife area with tons of restaurants, upmarket and even standard level shopping malls. Check in staff were very friendly and efficient, as were the bar and restaurant staff. This hotel exudes a kind of quaint atmosphere, but we loved it and would not hesitate to stay there again. It was only about a 20 minute walk to Chinatown and Petaling Jaya markets also.
A great and warm-hearted staff welcome and treat us so well which let me decided to return numerous times. Remember to mention Mr. Edward, whom giving me a very deep impression about the way he treats his guests. Sure you will feel being pampered nice and touchful. Nice place and good food. Nothing to complain about it. Go give it a try and you will know👍🏻
We had an event at the hotel which was very successful thanks to the team there, especially Izni. Everyone was really accommodating to our requests, professional and extremely friendly! Thank you all!
Thank you for the Christmas arrangement by Ms Izni and the friendly service provided by their team. Our Team enjoys the food served (especially Daging Masak Manis, Ikan Bakar and Sotong Bakar) by Ormond Hotel and have a wonderful Christmas celebration night with Ormond Hotel. Definitely will recommend Ormond Hotel to others. Only thing to improve: Parking slot
Food was really good, service was really great! The ambience is nice and beautiful set up. Definitely a recommended place to host dinners as they have many private rooms which gives big groups privacy.
I love the ambience and the excellent team!!! Especially, Fazil, Sajib , Sean and Mahani. They are so helpful and great welcoming . We are having a fabulous time in the restaurant. The local fusion Malay foods are surprisingly yumzz.
