Beautiful hotel room and wonderful breakfast spread. The uncle at manning the juice bar at the breakfast buffet is warm and friendly, and creates nice juice mixes on demand. On the whole, a luxurious and restful stay.
The stay with the hotel was very comfortable and the service level from the reception, to the waiters and waitresses at The Cobalt Room (where we have our breakfast) are amazing! Especially Nilufa who is very attentive to her guests' needs and very friendly. Despite being in a building which has been around for 20 years, the maintenance of the place certainly does not feel that way. The room is very clean and well maintained. We had a great stay here and would recommend it to any one coming to KL!
"A well maintained classic hotel. The room was very clean, huge and gave a very classy vibe! All equipment and facilities in the room were working well. Friendly and accommodating staff too. Loved our stay and will return to this hotel when we come to KL again."
All was fine - service, amenities, spa, comfort... so a solid choice where to stay. I however did not like the room that much - it was relatively dark with not enough / properly placed lights. Plus the funny thing was we were asked about consumption from the minibar, although there was literally no minibar at all.
Impeccable service. Took special care of my elderly father providing bathroom necessities to avoid a fall. Breakfast staff at the Cobalt Room were also friendly and helpful, especially Tarikul, our fresh fruit juice “bartender”, who always surprised us each morning with his very own health special mix! Perfect start to each day!
Not the Ritz Carlton experience I expected: - Rooms are dated, many corners are dusty. - Breakfast is not great - choices are limited, taste was normal, coffee is bad. - The layout is weird where you have to walk to a corner for lift access to the room. - Service is normal. - Location is great but for this price you'll have many other better options (even some cheaper options are better).
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Ritz. The service was fantastic from all staff. Breakfast was great as well with good options and different cuisines. Location of the hotel was great, very close to Pavilion and Bukit Bintang. Rooms were very nice and spacious. TV could do with an upgrade. Bathrooms were lovely and spacious. Water just did not get very hot in the shower
Prior to staying here, we were at Ritz Langkawi (see my review). We enjoy staying here every December. The hotel still looks nice and still in a great location. Service is still aligns with Ritz’ tradition with impeccable service. There were numerous individuals that have made an impression whose names I don’t remember, but took their photos to post and give them a big shoutout. Thank you to all! Zidni who was our cleaning attendant took pride in his work and made sure he cleaned our rooms thoroughly every day. He was so helpful and very attentive in our needs. Every morning at breakfast, Arshad, one of the managers, took good care of us. I remember Arshad in one of our first meetings from our previous stay, he was always helpful and attentive with hotel guests. I was so happy to see him once again. He is still an asset to the hotel to this day. During our stay, I booked the afternoon tea despite of the unsatisfactory experience I’ve had in the past. To my surprise, the afternoon tea turned out really good in terms of food. Service was always impeccable and food this time quenched my cravings. So glad that the price has not gone up. That is enticing in itself. Joyce waited on me and she was wonderful and accommodating. She made my experience memorable. The only thing that needs improvement at the hotel is the breakfast menu. Thus, I only gave 4 stars. Although there were so many to choose from, nothing really stood out especially staying at the hotel for 5 days and ate the same thing for 5 days in a row. Please entice your hotel guests for a better variety of food (Langkawi Ritz’ menu was great). To the guy who made the fresh juices every morning at breakfast and the men who prepared the roti canai and the men at the omelette station, thank you for your services! And to the rest of the staff who help shaped Ritz’ to its traditional standards.…
Our stay at Ritz Carlton was very comfortable and memorable. The service level from the reception, ( Tasha P and Jie Ying ) to the waiters and waitresses at The Cobalt Room (where we have our breakfast) were simply amazing! Especially Arshad from The cobalt room gave his best service who was very attentive to all the guests needs and was extremely friendly.
Nice place. Location is very strategic. We had the king suite with a big spacious area to let the kids roam around. Really roam around freely. The service staff was good & very proffessional. The service always comes with a smile. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
