Harry at the club lounge is my man. Great service and helps in every way possible to make your stay enjoyable and like they put it. Home from home. Breakfast is quite SEA standard. Want to have a perfect stay in KL during your holiday? Pick InterContinental, you will not be disappointed. Want to elevate that luxury experience? Go for a room with club access. ICKL has always been our go to hotel whenever we come to KL. The staff are always ready to assist us to make our holiday better. Now, the creme de la creme of ICKL, the Club Lounge. I have had the opportunity to stay in some of the best hotel in KL and experienced their club lounge, but I dare say none come close to the standard that was set by ICKL. From the day of checking in until we checked out, we were very well taken care of by the staff in the club. All the staff in the lounge are amazing but we had to point out two really amazing member that went the extra mile for us, Romzi and Harry. Romzi, we felt like he never left the hotel as he is always there whenever we drop by the lounge. He is always there to greet us and never failed to checked on us if we needed anything else. He also gave us many great recommendations on where to go and what to eat around the city. Generally, a very polite guy, very very knowledgable and will go beyond his scope and do anything just to make our holiday better. Harry on the other hand has this contagious smile and a witty personality that one can never get enough of. If you ever go to the club, make sure to get Harry to whip up some of his amazing cocktails. Both Romzi and Harry are amazing and they complement each other so well. Romzi, the softer spoken guy between the two but he is very good in handling our requests and will do about anything to elevate our experience. Harry, the louder guy, very friendly and made us feel very comfortable during our stay. They are both truly a gem to the hotel.…

We arrived quite late in the evening after 14 hours of flying. We arrived to a gentleman opening the doors, taking our bags and directing us to check in. Shortly after we made it to our large tidy room and the bags followed. The staff were super helpful and lovely, always with a smile! Great breakfast selection and plenty of staff to clear tables. We were greeted every morning in the breakfast area by a staff member, he’d ask about our previous day and give us plenty of trips for the day to come.

Booked a 3 night stay at their club room and received upgrade to their executive suite under ambassador benefit. Room/bathroom is very large and their king size bed is the biggest we have ever seen amongst other hotel we have stayed. Sleep very comfortably for a family of 4. The club lounge is very nice and cosy and very delicious food offerings. The lounge attendant are all very nice and friendly, especially Harry, whom he remembers us and the kids from our previous stay back in 2018. He is very friendly and sincere towards every guest. Breakfast has plenty of choice and high quality. Location is very close/walkable to KLCC and has shuttle run to Bukit Bintang. Pool is nice and cosy and the gym has all tje equipment needed for a good workout. Granted a late check out which is very helpful for us as we have night flight. Will definitely stay here again in future. …

A nice central hotel in the heart of Bukit Bintang with Suria Mall and KLCC park only 5 minute walk away. Staff were friendly and attentive and spoke excellent English. The room was spacious, comfortable and a decent standard. The bed was huge, comfortable and bed linens spotless. The only downside is the breakfast area in Serena Brasserie. It’s designed poorly overall. This is why I’m giving 4 out of 5 stars and not the full 5 stars. There was not enough seating resulting in a queue all around the lobby. Granted it was busy but I’ve never had to queue over 20 mins just to get a breakfast table. Once we were in, the food station area is a bottle neck, not enough space and was a bit chaotic. I had other guests breathing down my neck as I was selecting something from the breakfast buffet. Also on the busy days, the food wasn’t being replenished quick enough to meet the demand of people eating. It didn’t impact our stay at all but didn’t make for a relaxing breakfast time really. However I will say, the staff were so lovely, their customer service skills were excellent and they did everything they could despite things out of their control. Would I stay here again? Yeah I would, but maybe not on such a busy weekend.…

Stepping through the lobby awaiting for my q for registration , i was immediately struck by hotel manager Gavin @ the. reception area. Light, airy and very spacious...very welcoming atmosphere. The staff, Harry & Guna , throughout the club room reception area were very professional, friendly and extremely helpful. They are always greeting and smiling to us. Super friendly and attentive to every single request. The breakfasts were amazing. The location of the hotel is great with extra service. Their clubroom was very spacious and well equipped with all essentials and fantastic view. I have no hesitation in recommending intercontinental hotel to any tourists who want to go to KL area . Will be back with my family to this place soon

Our first time staying at the hotel. It offered everything that we'd expect from an Intercon, and then some. In fact, the service level was top notch. Everyone, from bell captain to front of the hour, was extraordinarily helpful and friendly. They made us feel like it's our second home. Excellent service culture. Kudos to the management. Location was excellent. Only a brisk walk to KLCC and other malls. Breakfast good. The Malaysian fare was a must try.

What turn out to be a nightmare from the beginning of the stay turned to something amazing as a few individuals took ownership of the problems I faced during the start of my stay and made my stay pleasant. Firstly, Duty Manager Romzi awed me when he did his best to ensure that I got the right room preference which I requested prior to my stay. He ensured me that he will do his best to accommodate to my needs and told me to relax while he sort things out. Shortly after he personally escorted me up to my new room and comforted me by having all my preferences requested in the new room. Secondly, with all the troubles I faced with the beginning service, Duty Manager Shamsul was there to listen to my situation and did his best to ensure I was able to enjoy my stay with the hotel. He was apologetic for all the unfortunate events which happened to me and did his best to rectify the situation as best as he could. Thirdly, Club Manager Connie was a superstar in the hotel. She personally met me to check on me even though she was busy and also to ensure all my requests were fulfilled. The Club Team was also amazing and attentive to details and they will ensure you are well taken care of. Shout out to Awais for making amazing Hot Chocolate and also Kimura for taking care of us. Kudos to Connie for training and guiding such amazing staffs in the lounge. Lastly, our room was always well taken care of by Delower. He ensured that our room was always kept tidy and made our room ready for turndown service every evening. Would definitely come back to the hotel again to meet the amazing friends I made during my stay. Definitely would recommend everyone to try the personalised service offered in the club lounge if you could! Trust me, you wouldn't regret it. Location of hotel was close to KLCC and away from the crazy traffic of Bukit Bintang. Should definitely stay here if you want to get away from the traffic jams.…
