Love the hotel for its location which is a short walk ( or buggy ride) to Suria KLCC mall ( with LRT link , KL Free bus and Hop On/Hop Off stops). Apart from shops there’s ample food. Hotel also has warm lovely service. Started at front desk check in with young Indian girl (Nanshiree?) who put up with our room preferences & put my parents in the adjoining room ( thank goodness cos there was a family with screaming kids in the room opposite who decided to have a party - including confetti along the corridor 🙄) Good thing the doors are heavy and thick enough to block out noise once shut. Room 2923 was on the corner & light filled. Rooms with a view are worth it. Executive Rooms have space for a roll out bed. Hotel can also make up the sofa to be a bed - good for kids or non fussy young adults. It was the Chinese New Year period but the staff held up well especially on the 2nd day of the New Year where the breakfast lounge was staffed by 3 (kudos to John, Farisa & kitchen team) with almost all tables filled. Shoutout to Oliver for his great personality & service. Abby was very helpful in making arrangements to accommodate our tall ‘little boy’. Hotel is not a mod spot. More business inclined. Only areas of improvements. Power outlets. The ones built into the desk just don’t have enough space (length) for travel adapters with USB cables and there are none by the bedside. Noise from Sky Bar. Even at 29 ( & lower) you get the boom booM boom till about 1 am on weekends.…
We arrived early at around 10am+ and was glad that our room was available. Check-in was very prompt and staff were friendly. Car parking is located at part of the convention centre. We felt safe to park our car here and it has a section which is only for hotel’s guests. Very specious and clean room and bathroom, with all toiletries provided. Bedroom slippers are also provided. Love that you can also hear to the tv channels while in the bathroom. Last but not least, the view of the twin towers is awesome! Will definitely stay this hotel again for our next KL trip!
It’s easy to stay in KLCC on a hotel that you can spot the Petronas towers… but you don’t have too much choices as Traders Kuala Lumpur. Right in from of them, the hotel is for me, the best choice in this city. Pool, skybar and an amazing spa and massage service , I can even describe all the feelings I had during my stay. I’m from Portugal, spent 2 nights with my wife here and we thought we could live here forever. The breakfast is continental and has everything you can imagine. The food that you can order to your room is just out of this world! Check the Petronas photo from the skybar , is just unreal !!
This must be the worst designed bar in the world. The narrow timber walkways beside the pool are made more difficult to navigate because of the curved wooden frames which separate each sunken conversation pit. It is difficult to step down into these conversation pits. We watched many parties arriving and each person had to be assisted to step in and was uncomfortable as this is impossible to do gracefully. The waiters had difficulty in juggling drinks trays and serving guests seated in these ridiculous areas. Our three drinks were all jostled and some liquid was split by the waiter making the glasses sticky. The drinks are overpriced and the glass of Chardonnay we bought was undrinkable. Finally, in order to go to the bathrooms, one had to navigate out onto the walkway beside the pool which was slippery but we were then directed to another level of the hotel as the facilities on the sky bar level were unavailable. Avoid this place! There are many other attractive options close by.…
2nd time staying at this property. The first time was about 11 years ago. I wanted to come back and bring my children who were now at an age they could remember. Hotel was exactly as I remembered it.....Im not sure if this is a good thing, the fact that nothing has changed or been updated isnt the best sign. Check in was easy, I had booked a room for 4, which is clearly stipulated on the reservation. 3 adults and 1 child (my 13 year old counted as an adult) I was expecting a room that could fit 4 people. In one room there was a King size bed and the other room was the sofa which could fit one....meaning one person always has to share the King size bed. We managed to move the sofa around to fit 2 people, but it was not a comfortable nights sleep! Room looked tired, needs a makeover!! However the view was phenomenal! Couldnt ask for a better view. Patronas Towers lit up at night are gorgeous! Breakfast buffet - Ill be honest, it needs updating. Start with some fresh juice, not watered down concentrated juice. Have more condiments for the toast, one day I was there, there wasnt even any jams, just butter. Update the Restaurant, it could be so much nicer and again it has not changed in 11 years, including the decor or tables. The people working at the Restaurant should be given a nice uniform, not just a polo tshirt. Perhaps they could make the coffees/Tea? instead of lining up to use the coffee machine? Club Lounge was great! Great service, good food, great views. Pool - Needs upgrading, It is awkward swimming around whilst people are trying to relax around the pool and enjoy the view. You can see the metal is rusting around the pool and the roof. Only 2 towels allowed per family.......not great when you have a teenager, 2 adults and a 10 year old. I asked for anothr towel and was told that the rules were two towels per family. Would I stay here agani? Proably not, not unless it was upgraded. I can only assume that Covid has impacted this hotel, like most places. Im glad I came, Im glad the view was gorgeous but its just not up to the standards of other hotels in the area. …
Mr Sina's Club Lounge team is 1 of the very best I have encountered. His attentiveness was second to none despite the crowd and led his team well. I even though Oliver was an old timer but in fact he told me he is just a newcomer which also impressed me. Special thanks to Marlvin, Farisa, Brient, Shabby, Aidil and Alex, as well as Ms Karen and Han from the Front Office. Thanks for making my stay such a pleasant one.
Come back here after 2 years (post-covid). Registration process was quick and this time around, I got a room facing ExxonMobil building. All the basic facilities functioning well and yes, the pillow is still fluffy as before Tips: Do request for room facing Twin Towers or KLCC Park and am sure it will be one of the memorable stays for you
You feel most welcome when you arrive & check in but not after check out, the only person will smile and great is the security….. is 1pm…and not much people. Even get help from concierge not as helpful as those arrival, they will get you liaise with the level 5 direct as they are busy… Before I purchase shopee voucher, I did confirm the availability of the room, but no inform about that shopee not entitle for member benefit. Then should inform me before I purchase not only I checked in and asked then only know. The most weird hotel I never experience before, check in must get the partner ic to register, even though both of us are Malaysian, never and never encountered this, reason is need registered to entitle for breakfast. I purchased for 2 nights stay with 2 persons then I must proof I have 2 persons? Where is the p&c? I’m lucky I didn’t pay for more to upgrade the room…and Shangri-La…I don’t dare to go back anymore, don’t buy any shopee voucher.…
You have to stay in this hotel and get a twin towers view room! We stayed on the 26th floor, and the view from the room is just spectacular! Although the furniture/interior isn’t new, the room was clean and big. The room was also on the same level as the gym which was open 24hours. The pool is open only till 7pm though as it doubles up as the Sky Bar. I would highly recommend visiting the bar at night as the view there is gorgeous too. The hotel also has good variety in the breakfast spread, and there’s complimentary buggy service to Suria KLCC. You can also take a 20min walk to Bukit Bintang from Suria KLCC if you’re in KL for the shopping. Definite value for money - highly recommend! Would love to come back!
This is a great hotel, and the most international one we have ever been in. The breakfast buffet had every conceivable food from all around the world; the staff were extremely efficient and helpful and the hotel was lovely. Our room overlooked the beautiful park and the twin towers of the shopping mall on the opposite side. Kuala Lumpur itself was our three day break from UK to NZ, not as exotic as I expected, the traffic is terrible, but we managed to explore most of it on the tourist bus and on foot.
