Would not recommend for any family to stay. Had problems in trying to get a connecting room upon arrival, although i have requested earlier. First room I got into, no AC. Asked to change room again. Second room I got into, no electricity. Third room I got into, is not even side by side (mind that I requested for a room close to each other and the whole floor is empty. Reason? Room problem.) Receptionist is very slow, wasted so much of my time. Operating manager literally no proactive solution, only explaining the things that I already know. All in all, lousy hotel.
Checked in on 24.01.2020 till 28.1.2020. Booked executive room. Was given room 1921. Unfortunately when reached the room, The TV is not working . The Phone is not working and the Air Con leaking . Went down to exchange another room .Really make me very disappointed the lif is not working.. just 1 Lif is working . Request to change another room ,THE FRONT DESK was told all the room TV is not working and all room is not available ( Full house). I was so angry. How could they said a such unpleasant word to us . Should call this hotel as backpackers hostel instead hotel or motel . . If you have stayed here than you will know how far is the lobby. This hotel is not under Category HOTEL it will be under Backpacker hostel……. Been staying here countlessly and this was really a unpleasant stay for us. Agoda agent and all the agent please do not recommend as the Hotel Category Coloum. NOT RECOMMEND GRAND CAMPBELL HOTEL ….. IT'S SUCK SUCK SUCK HOTEL…
The front desk is far from the main lift. one of the lift is not working. The bathroom door cannot be closed. The air conditioner is not properly working , it needs to take like an hour or two to get the temperature cold.
my family and i books the room for 7-11 dec through agoda, everything was confirm. upon checking in the staff said there was no room but was only told after waiting for an hour. be honest with your guest when there is no room. not recommended.
I was at Grand Campbell hotel for two days and two nights. The first day was ok but the next day at the breakfast area there were three cats. The staff knew about the cats but did not do much to take them away. Later one of the cat came out from under my table and sat next to my feet. After making some noise finally the staff came with some food in a bowl to make cats move from there. Same day after we left for sight seeing for half a day with my family, the hosekeeping did not make our room. I informed the reception about it, the girl at the reception took it in writing what all I needed... which was making our room and replenish water and coffee. Even after the written request only water was sent in some time. I will not recommend anyone Grand Campbell hotel.
I booked my hotel on 28 September 2019 through agoda, and by the time Im ready to check in, the front desk staff told me that the hotel was fully booked, so they can't do anything. But I already made the payment through agoda and my booking was confirmed. Not only me that encounter this problem, more than 30 people who also facing this problem on that day. Obviously the hotel was overbook, and the front desk staff didn't know how to handle the problem, just called us to contact with the Agoda agent to settle. In the end I call to Agoda customer service and they agreed to refund for me without any charge. Definately not recommend this hotel at all with their terrible service and wasting my time with no intention to settle the problem with me, just know how to say call the agent, they can't do anything!…
I would love to say the stay of us was immaculately accepted by them to serve us all our days we spent at the property. The breakfast must be bit upgraded. But anyway they had allocated us a very higher floor room which was giving us a memorable stay. Thank you so much campbell .Hope to visit again.
Have stayed at this hotel on many occasions. It is very good value for money, clean rooms and if you have any problem are very prompt in helping you. Only one thing that could be improved is the breakfast which tends to be the same each morning. They could add hash browns or boiled eggs or pancakes to add to the variety. Perfect location, 7 minutes walk to train or 5 mins to free bus and 7 minutes walk to monorail.
Great location. Comfortable room for sleep and rest. Arrived late at night so i did not expect much. Front office staff very helpful. Attach to the shopping mall. Located near to shopping mall. Will visit again soon.
1st time try at this hotel.Stay for 1 night normally will stay at Prescott Medan Tuanku hotel. But no regrets at all. They have nice room. Very comfortable and clean. Hotel location exactly at jalan tar easy access to sogo and other mall. Night market just next to the hotel also. They also provide breakfast buffet, Hi tea and lunch buffet with very cheap price. Affordable to everybody. Just upon check in need to Q long due only 1 person on duty and another just looking no bother and do others things (suspect DM on Duty) and when my turn to check in reception just check my reservation and ask back to come at 3pm coz c. In time at 3pm due that time just at 1pm. No pre check in just ask to come back later after i wait more then 15 minutes. I insist reception to do pre check in for me so later i just collect the key only coz im tired to Q and wait any longer. Im also hotelier who already working almost 17 years in front office department at 10 different hotel which all 5* never informed guest to comeback at 3pm to register and c. In. Always informing guest for early c. In subject to hotel rooms availability. And will do pre check in first. Easy to inform hk which room needs to give priority to rush up due guest waiting. And their hotel lif to the room quiet far from reception counter.Beside that very nice experience. Definitely will recommend to others and stay this hotel again in the future.
