Arrived from Banaue on the overnight bus in Manila. We arrived at 3.30am and decided to go to this hotel as we were taking the Si-Kat bus to Puerto Galera. The breakfast is a poor affair. The dishes are toast (warm bread) with an egg; scrambled, fried or an omelette. You can also have tea or coffee. This then cost... More

We stayed at this hotel out of convenience as our bus from Batangas stopped right outside. Despite arriving late afternoon, we were made to wait for the room we had reserved the night before. After waiting over thirty minutes, I asked the front desk how much longer was the wait, they'd forgot about us! As such we were given a... More

An earlier reviewer has described the Citystate Tower Hotel as a "stop-over" hotel and I would concur 100%. This hotel had been chosen by our tour company as the starting point for our trip. In fact, we stayed there for one night on three separate occasions; at the start, on Day 9 and at the end of our trip. Probably... More

Pre booked this hotel with Mastercard and paid a pre booking fee and on arrival told my mastercard was declined,I then paid cash for my 2 nights and booked out 2 days later. I then found my mastercard had been billed the total 2 nights and had a terrible time convincing by email what they had done, probably a staff scam... More

It is a shame that these people would put photos of a palace on their website and then when you arrive, you get this flea infested, bed bug infested, filthy room with filthy sheets, dirty walls, windows that wont close to the outside air of manila, noisy from traffic, furniture in disrepair, TV not working, ac control broken, bed like... This hotel is from a previous generation. The air-con and bathrrom extractor are so loud that you have to shout at each other to be heard over the din. There is no fan so I got a blocked nose every morning from the air-con. Other than that, the rooms are very average. There is free wi-fi. One bizarre routine though... More

I have stayed at City State Tower hotel in Mabini regularly over the past five years because I had my work in Asia.In the recent past there has been a dramatic change regarding customer service and honesty. First off all: the hotel has nearly no customers today. The management has told the front desk staff to sell the expensive rooms... More
