My friend and I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights since we needed to live at close proximity with our friends who are staying at condominiums across DLSU. We had no idea what this hotel had to offer, but we just opted to stay here because of its location. First off, the hotel room was really old. It seemed... More

What I liked: (1) Closest to the university, literally a few steps to the Velasco gate. This is its most compelling selling point. (2) ample and wide parking. (3) clean. (4) odorless. (5) spacious room for this hotel category. (6) good water pressure. (7) good aircon, comfortable and wide (double) beds, comfy covers. Pillows were on the lumpy side but... More

Positive: The rooms were spacious. Air condition ok. Location was nicely situated next to De La Salle University. Easy to find public transportations. Negative: No aisbox, old fashion TV, Wifi in the room sometime not ok, the elevator take very long. Have to wait about 5 - 10 minutes for it. A bit expensive.

Unfortunately, the negatives outweigh the positives for Taft Tower Hotel. To begin with a positive, the staff members were prompt whenever we requested toilet paper or other toiletries. The rooms were spacious and big, though they are not cleaned on a daily basis. The location was nicely situated next to De La Salle College on Taft Avenue. However, the hotel... More

Its location was technically the only good thing about this hotel because it is very near restaurants and the DLSU campus. It was not a really good stay. The safety is questionable because the guards just allow almost anyone to go up the building. Its elevators were slow and it takes long waiting for them. The room was old and... More

The elevators take very long. You have to wait about 5-10 minutes for it. The rooms are very old and the aircon is underpowered. Location is one of the only benefits. Internet access wont reach your room. You have to go out to the lobby which is very very hot because the hotel wifi only reaches until there. In conclusion,... More

The hotel is very convenient if you need to go to Dlsu or areas within the vicinity. Always ask for tissue, garbage can, soap and bath mat since they always forget it after check in. The wifi is strong in the lobby but very weak once you enter your room. Always ask housekeeping to check if the water heater is... More

I can't believe there are positive reviews about this place. I would rate this hotel and condominium beyond terrible. Having lived in EGI Taft Tower for more than 5 years and having stayed in the hotel once, I can give you a very objective review about this place. Below is a list of my complaints: 1. Slow and deadly elevators... More

I've been here twice and I can say this is one of the best budget hotel in the city. Reservation: We reserved our rooms through their website with ease and had no problems with it. Location: The hotel building can be easily found. It is beside De La Salle University - Manila so you can never be lost in finding... More

I stayed for 3 nights with a friend in Taft Tower Hotel. We had a great view from our room (even they are going to build a house right next to the hotel and it seems, when it is finished, you will have a wall right in front of your window - but right now we didn't see any worker).... More
