Having a 9 AM speaking engagement in a technical conference held at this hotel, I decided to check in the day before to minimize the hassle. This despite living only 4.4 km (approximately 15 minutes away). Check-in was relatively quick and stress-free. As the bellhop escorted me and my luggage to my room, he made an effort to explain to me in great detail the different hotel facilities like the restaurants, sports facilities, how to get housekeeping to replenish supplies, etc.

The hotel gave me the specific room type I asked for (Deluxe King) at the local rate. I found the room to be very well laid out, particularly the bathroom with easy access to the sink and the shower. There is a chaise lounge chair where you can take a nap so that you do not mess up the bed, and a reasonably sized desk to do work with relatively stable and fast internet. The hotel is centrally located in the Araneta center between Shopwise, Gateway Mall, SM Cubao, and Ali Mall.

I made arrangements to have breakfast included in my reservation to save me the time and effort of having either to order breakfast or go out for breakfast. This would allow me to properly focus on preparing for my presentation. Turned out that the buffet breakfast was more like a full weekend extravaganza dinner buffet at Spirals (sans the cheese room) at one-fifth the price. This is one situation where discipline is highly recommended given the temptation to indulge lest you end up eating more than Hidilyn Diaz can lift.

Another thing I appreciated was how everyone on the hotel staff greeted me by name once I had checked in to the hotel (and this was just an overnight stay).

While the hotel takes pride in its efforts to minimize single-use plastic in its operations, I can see many areas in which this could be further improved (e.g. use water in glass bottles instead of plastic bottles, use coffee in paper sachets instead of plastic sachets). In my opinion, what is noteworthy evidence of the social responsibility of this hotel is its effort to patronize products resulting from fair trade practices.

This was our first visit to Manila so we weren't sure of area's but our friends are members of Accor so they booked here. What a fabulous hotel so friendly it was a bit daunting when we arrived with security dogs and an armed guard but it related to an incident years ago in the area. We felt very safe and everyone was happy to see us as it's not really an area for tourists. There is everything you want in walking distance shopping centres, supermarkets coffee shops, restaurants. The hotel it self is run by an Aussie who we met on New years eve, which was alot of fun and very noisy. The pool area is lovely with a big pool with waterfall and a smaller pool for kids, attached to that is a bar where you can drinks and food. Also on that floor is the gym where we went every day well equipped. Down stairs is a magnificent icecream shop so fresh and you can buy a cake or two as well. For breakfast and dinner there is a buffet huge variety, everything you could want. It also has a coffee shop and another restaurant you can eat and drink all day. We loved this place with it's amazing friendly staff . Our room was great King bed, well appointed bathroom, storage space. Full length windows block out blinds. Only negative they need new towels. If you going to Manila give this hotel a go we are so glad we did, we never felt unsafe anywhere day or night. We went on day tours but the traffic is unreal, you can get a car from the hotel to take you out for a small fee. Thank you for a wonderful week.

I came from Cebu: Our company decided to temporarily relocate us to Manila from Dec.23-Jan.8 ,2022nd.

All I can say is that " I was amazed by how all of the staffs we're so professionals"

The room is so clean, the housekeeping staff we're so quick whenever we do have a request such us bringing extra botttle of waters, laundry pick-up and requesting toilet papers.

The breakfast buffet is so yummyy!

The take me out food "the cookies and the pasalubong sets."

To the guy who always delivered my food from take me out "Mark", thank you!

To the two airport drivers "Kudos for being so nice and friendly!" .

I'll visit Manila soon and this hotel will always be my 1st choice.

I rarely give a need to improve rating since i already stayed in this property before (and i recommended my family to so too in the past) but this time around the value for money vs the service i received calls for it. The 1st room assigned to me was moldy, the aircon's vent was rusty, the room's carpet were kinda damp and there were dried small splatter of sauces on the wall where the supposedly designated table for eating/work. ive also discovered a used soap on top of the phone (inside the toilet) most likely used by the previous occupant :(. Apart from cleanliness, the service sucks too! i get that the hotel enforces no contact/social distancing policy, but hauling up 3 luggages with close to 85kgs in total, i was given a trolley that has problems with the wheel that made pushing difficult! thats not all, pushin my luggages was the easy part but getting it all out of the trolley and in to the room was brutally hard! (imagine repeating that upon check out) and lastly 3 times i was given the wrong food ration good thing that food they serve tastes good.

I was kinda disappointed to receive an email from Novotel that says "Upon arrival at our hotels over the next few months, you’ll see our new ALLSAFE label which represents some of the most stringent cleaning standards and operational protocols in the world of hospitality". This was not true at least for what ive experienced because the room wasnt clean at all. I hope that this property indeed will uphold its ALLSAFE label

My husband and I already stayed in this hotel a couple of times for staycation since it is only 3kms away from my workplace. The hotel is very accessible.

The hotel is at the center of Araneta city, right beside Araneta Coliseum and Gateway mall. Right across the hotel are different restaurants where you can eat in case you are already saturated with hotel food.

Rooms: the superior, deluxe, and executive rooms basically have the same amenities and room layout. They only differ in terms of floor levels. The higher room categories are located in the upper floors of the bldg. The rooms have basic toiletries provided except for the executive room which has shower gel, lotion, vanity set, shoe shine sponge, shaving kit, sewing kit, nespresso machine. Rooms are clean with comfy bed and mattress. Bathroom is equipped with rainshower. No bath tub for said room types.

Food: food is superb!!!! Love their pizza and buffet breakfast. Value for money indeed! :)

Facilities: they have an adult pool and kiddie pool located at the 6th floor as well as a gym and kids play area on the same floor. They also have a spa located on the 5th floor with jacuzzi/steam/sauna which can be used for an additional fee.

Overall this place gives value for money especially their service VS other hotels under the same management.

This place is highly recommended!

Novotel Manila Araneta City is a perfect place for a quick urban getaway! It is conveniently located at the heart of Araneta Center Cubao just beside Gateway Mall. It is very accessible to public transportation and is surrounded by restaurants that can easily be explored by just walking around.

Rooms:
The hotel offers a superior room, deluxe room, executive room, executive suite and a presidential suite. Room styles are urban minimalist with splashes of color. Layout across room categories are basically the same, they only differ when it comes to amenities (i.e. executive rooms have nespresso machine) . Deluxe rooms are located on higher floors while executive rooms are on levels 20 or 21 and above. Booking for the executive room also gives you access to the premiere lounge.

Food:
Novotel food exchange is probably one of the best buffet in the Metro! It is not as pricey as other hotel buffet rates but the food they serve is just as amazing or even better than the more expensive ones. (Try their pizza and beef salpicao *wink*)

The stay in the hotel with my family was truly memorable and satisfying. I must say the hotel provides excellent service. All the staff are courteous and polite. Calling the room service was a breeze and the reaction for the request was really fast. The lounge located at the 24th floor which is exclusive for the suite room guests provide easy access to food and drinks from 6am to 11pm. The lounge has an ambience of serenity and hominess. The breakfast buffet offers a wide selection of food. I must say one of the best breakfast buffet in town. I must say I'm coming back and shall recommend this hotel to friends and relatives.
The only comment I have was the pillow that was too soft that my head get buried deep. My pillow at home was a bit harder with the likes of Uratex. Apart from that everything was superb and excellent.

First time to stay at Novotel Manila (Club Room). The staff at the lounge were excellent, practically anticipating your every need. I also required tickets to the PBA Finals and the lounge staff facilitated courtside tickets (the good seats were already sold out prior). The location of Novotel is excellent, right in the heart of the shopping district (Cubao) and access to the MRT and LRT lines was very convenient. Will definitely make Novotel Manila my home base for my next Manila Trip. To Mike and Maria, great work in assembling an excellent team.

Excellent, cozy rooms. Helpful staff. Great breakfast spread! I like that from the moment I arrived, I feel that I am being taken care of as a guest. Even the housekeeping was very particular with how they clean the room, and would even leave personalized notes. I really appreciate it! I also like the gym - it has complete equipment and the staff there is very helpful. The pool also is inviting! Gerald from the front desk is also very friendly and accommodating!

For an average height/size person, the double bed will do. However, one cannot expect much from a double bed. It will do.
