The last 15 miles of the drive to Leaping Lamb Farm raised our expectations, as we wound through lovely wooded hills strewn with Spanish moss. And our visit exceeded our expectations in every way, beginning when Scottie greeted us with a loaf of her own homemade bread still warm from the oven. We enjoyed Scottie's introductions to the many animals...

Dear Marsha, Thanks so much for that kind review. We had a great time with your family and so glad you were able to witness new life on the farm. Brownie, the bottle baby, is still cuddly and verging on roly-poly. We hope you will come back some day. Warm Regards, Scottie

We really had a great time! I met up with 2 other friends and their small children and stayed in the farmhouse. It was one of the most fun, relaxing, and informative vacations I have every been on. Scottie was wonderful! She took us out to collect eggs, sort sheep, see spawning salmon, and spend time with all of her...

So happy you could come with friends and children to stay at our farm. We always enjoy showing people what we do and any time spent in nature is a good thing, in our estimation. I'm glad the farm house worked for your group and hope we will see you back again this way some day.

if there is one part of our recent vacation that we want to repeat , it is a farmstay. After our stay at the Leaping Lamb farm, we are now huge fans of farmstays. Scottie did a fantastic job showing us around the farm and introducing the lambs, goats, chickens, turkeys, horses , peacock and of course, Paco. We were...

We had been to Leaping Lamb Farm several years ago and decided it was time for a repeat visit. We were not disappointed. Scottie, the owner, really makes the place with her caring attitude towards both her guests and her animals. My children were older and we got to help nurse a turkey and a rooster back to health as...

We love repeat guests and the chance to catch up (and see the kids as they get older). Thanks for this great review and I hope we will see you back again. Can always use the extra hands!

My family's stay at Leaping Lamb Farm was really wonderful; each of us benefited in our own way from the chance to live for a few days on such a beautiful working farm in an amazing natural setting. Each guest can choose their level of involvement with feeding the sheep and horses, collecting eggs, and harvesting vegetables, or hiking along...

I can't even say enough wonderful things about this place. Our farm stay was one of the most enjoyable parts of our entire vacation. We are a younger couple and I know that staying on a farm seems like an odd choice, but I love animals and this cottage is situated on the most gorgeous land! It is quiet, secluded,...

So glad you could stay with us. You are right! Farm stays aren't just for families. Anyone can enjoy the time here and get something out of it whether it be just kicking back, a walk in the woods, or hanging with the animals (or the farmers, if that's what you are looking for LOL!)

This was our first farm stay and the whole family just loved it! We enjoyed every moment from the time we arrived, to the tour of the farm, feeding the animals, and the hike around the farm. I also can’t say enough about our hostess, Scottie! My girls were so excited to go with her each day for the daily...

It was great to meet your family and I am so happy the girls could accompany me for chores. It takes many hands to run a farm and little ones often work just as well as big. I know that Opal enjoyed her daily walks with her babies - something I never have time to do. She and I will...

Leaping Lamb is one of our favorite places ever! We discovered it a few years back and try to get there every year. My sons (12 and 14) love it. Scottie and Greg are so welcoming and down-to-earth and give you lots of opportunities to explore and interact with the animals. I especially love Scottie's stories and sense of humor....

Lisa, thanks so much for the kind review, but more for returning year after year to our farm. I get to see your kids grow up and can always use the helping hands. I especially appreciate you pointing out that there is always something to laugh at on the farm and it usually has to do with something unplanned! Hope...

We had done farm stays in Australia where we lived, but our 8 year old daughter had never done one. When I "googled" farm stays in Oregon, Leaping Lamb Farm looked lovely--and it had the animals that my daughter wanted to see. We arrived Friday evening and we were so pleased to see beautiful accommodations. Our own little house with...

Jana, it was so nice to visit with your family and actually hear about your husband's experience growing up on a sheep station...not exactly like our 25 ewes and 45 lambs! We are glad you found us and appreciate your kind review of the digs. BTW there is no TV but like you said, few people notice this because of...

Hamad, So glad you could experience your first farm stay with us and thank you for the nice review. All seasons are different so July looks quite different than February when you arrived. I hope you will come visit again and if not us, some other farm stay here in Oregon. This is only the beginning of the experience :)
