Came with older teen in tow. Facility has undergone some noticeable freshening and upgrades since last visit in 2012. King bedroom with pull-down queen-sized Murphy bed and kitchenette was perfect for us, plenty of space for additional kids if necessary. Kitchenette nicely equipped for 4 people, with cups, glasses, plates, silverware, some pots and pans, colander (could have used a...

The hotel is old but clean. The salt water pool was a nice surprise; It is big enough to have a good swim, which I like to have after a day in the car. It is an easy and short walk to the shops, restaurants, and the theaters. There's a little coffee shop good for snacks. Breakfast is included. It...

It's worth coming here if you can get a room on the top (3rd) floor. Otherwise if anyone is above you it seems a herd of elephants, not a person or two, are up there. The room we had was on the second floor. Dark but otherwise comfortable and include microwave and mini-fridge. They have access fobs (6) to a...

Must be my fifth or sixth stay at the Stratford Inn...it's so convenient to the theatres and fabulous downtown Ashland! Our guestroom and perhaps all of them have been updated. Funky carpeting is gone in lieu of hardwood-look flooring. Lovely new window coverings and paint. Functional enough breakfast and an on-site café. And the pool is still open until 1:00...

I stayed here for the Ashland Film Festival and it was really nice. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. It was not right in the center of town but it was close enough to walk and with the weather being so so nice it was great to stretch my legs and walk to the film venues and back after...

We got to the Stratford by mistake and we will return in the future with great purpose and pleasure! A perfect location - a warm and friendly feel - a wonderful cleaning crew and well sized and appointed rooms. Doesn't get better than this.

The first time was excellent, the room was nice and comfortable and they gave us a discount to just go to the coffee shop for breakfast instead of the free breakfast with them. I think that they weren't very busy. We liked it so much (as well as the location, close to downtown) that we made a reservation for the...

Stayed two nights early April. We were in room 304, called The Rose Room. It's a nice studio type room. Dated furnishings, but comfortable. Our room had a king bed, a very large bathroom, desk, eating table with 2 chairs, a nice easy chair, and more drawers than I've seen in a hotel. The kitchenette was thorough: 2 burner stove,...

Found it to be quiet, comfortable and has all the right amenities. Pool, jacuzzi, cafe and central location. And really reasonable rates in the off season! Walking distance close to downtown. 1 long block and 2 short blocks after and you are at the REDZONE sports bar at the edge of town, which isn't a very long to walk on...

We stay here nearly every time that we are in Ashland, which is multiple times per year. The hotel is a short walk from downtown Ashland and its many restaurants, and also close to the university. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. The breakfast room has been remodeled somewhat which made it feel more spacious. The rooms are decent...
