While the Days Hotel by Wyndham Allentown Airport / Lehigh Valley boasts modernized rooms with large TVs that guests appreciate, the service has been criticized for being unprofessional and unreliable. Cleanliness is a point of contention; some guests commend the housekeeping, especially in the renovated rooms, but others have encountered issues ranging from unclean towels to ants. The value of the hotel is questioned by many travelers who feel overcharged given the level of service and room cleanliness. Amenities receive mixed reviews, with some guests satisfied but others pointing out maintenance issues.

Let's start with the front desk staff! They are extremely rude! They are not welcoming or accommodating, they do not want you asking any additional questions about your stay or charges to your credit card card, and they become upset if you need anything extra in your your room! For example, I was with the group of 4 and we were only provided with 2 sets of towels so I called down to ask for 2 extra sets and they told me that I would have to wait for room service to bring them the next day! I had to speak firm in order to get towels for us to use for a shower that night! The room service give dirty look and stares when they we you in the hall.

Bathroom shower had black spots of mold on it and the bathroom sink was practically detached from the wall! The toilet paper holder was broken!

We ordered from Bethlehem Diner because this hotels breakfast is a joke! The breakfast looked completely unappetizing! The provided watery eggs, sausage, and potatoes (if that's what you even want to call them) You can not leave the dining room to eat in the comfort of your room. You can not even walk out with a coffee! Very strange!

Overall, I thank God we only stayed for 1 night because this place is very sketchy!

We thought being near the airport, this location would be used by business travelers, airline staff, but that was not the case, this seemed to be the place to come and hold parties in room all night long. The rooms are small and outdated. Getting towels for the room or pool was a challenge and seemed to be rationed

The hotel is a good value, provides a breakfast with a choice of eggs, cook oatmeal, bagels, and breads. Conveniently located across from the airport and about 1/2 miles from rt 22. Large indoor swimming pool which appeared to be well maintained. Courteous staff.
I have stayed twice at this facility. It is a good value. I would give it 5 stars if they would pick up coffee and drink cups in the parking lot and remove the rubbermaid cart and mop from the lobby. It severely detracts from what is a nice facility with potential for more

We stayed at the Days Inn Allentown this weekend. Upon checking in we waited almost 45 minutes as neither staff seemed to know what they were doing. The young lady working was unfriendly (fake orange hair) and said very little to us. When asked where the room was located she simply pointed to a hallway. The layout of the hotel was confusing as the lobby is on the second floor. When we did find our room it was in the middle of a hallway with a wide open laundry room and a room that appeared to be used to store maintenance equipment. Our room was the bare minimum. Only two towels and the toilet paper roll had not been changed since the last guest. The sheets and pillows smelled dirty and the carpet was filthy.
Non room issues: The state of Pennsylvania requires people the wear masks in public places. Not only were most of the patrons not wearing masks but most of the staff were not wearing them either. We encountered multiple members of the housekeeping staff in the stairwell not wearing masks. This is unacceptable!
This hotel takes “shady” to a whole new level. We returned to our hotel around 1am both nights. There were multiple men standing around the parking lot and side doors smoking and drinking.
The second night we had to park far away from the front entrance and when we scanned our card to enter our room it did not work. We walked back to the front desk and there was no one working. When the manager returned we explained our concerns and he did not offer a response. When walking back to our room there were half a dozen people in the hallway drinking ( not wearing masks) and smelling like a marijuana dispensary.
This hotel is possibly one of the worst travel experiences I have ever seen and I have stayed in hostels all over the world. Save your money and stay somewhere else. I feel like I need to get tested for corona after staying here! 😷

I reserved two rooms this past weekend. We had no problem getting into the first room, but the lighting was horrible in the room. While walking down the third floor hallway we passed a couple having a screaming fight in the hallway and several doors blaring music. We had a party of 4, and when we got into the room we were provided 2 towels. When we asked for two more towels we waited for awhile and nothing arrived. When we went to the desk to get towels the employees argued about who had cleaned the room and eventually gave us the towels, but asked that we leave them outside of the door after use because they run short on the weekends. We did so. The next day that room was not serviced, and we again had no towels. The cleaning crew was on our floor so we asked for towels. They at first told us to use the towels from the previous night, and then when we told them we set them outside of the door like we were asked to do, they then said we could only have two towels. I pointed out the 4 people in that room, so they argued about whose cart the towels would come off of. Eventually we got our towels. All of this was going on as the hallway reeked of weed... while staff was present.
For the second room, their system was down at check in time. They decided to start checking people in manually. The problem here is that the first room we were given had someone else's stuff in it. The second room were given had people actually in it sleeping. The third room we were given was trashed and still had alcohol bottles and trash in it. There was staff walking by when that happened so they moved us to a 4th room while calling the people working the front desk idiots. Once our party finally got into the second room it was nicer than the first. The only issue here was there was a dog in the room next door that barked anytime someone was in the hallway. It was literally the first room in the hallway so everyone had to walk by that room.

I don't typically leave reviews, but this was not a good experience. They couldn't pay us to stay here again. Letting random people walk into occupied rooms is dangerous, and no way we should have to deal with their towel shortage. Hotel staff shouldn't just ignore the lingering weed smoke in their hallways. Horrible experience.

Book a two night stay at this hotel and received the worst treated ever. i do however want to compliment the front desk rep Eric for his patience and being as accommodating as possible. I made my reservations the night before to be given the wrong size bed on check-in. Then i had to wait 3 hours for a room to be ready The manager JJ decides his best offer to me was to either take the room or cancel. After informing him on his lack of professionalism i finally giving a room. The next day, I asked for full room service to have the room cleaned, and linen changed to end up being scolded by house keeping questioning why i took the linens off the bed? according to the house keeper linens are only changed every 3 days. That is beyond nasty. I had to throw my socks away because they were black on the soles from the carpet being so dirty. literally 10 hrs wait for house keeping. i do not recommend this hotel. i wont be returning ever. i rather sleep on a park bench.

We reserved a room almost 2 months prior to our visit. When we arrived we were told there was a computer issue and housekeeping was behind due to being short staffed. We were kept waiting just over an hour while occasionally being told it would just be a few more minutes. Several other people were getting rooms while we waited. We were advised to get a meal at the bar. Someone claiming to be the bar manager told us to go up to our room and call in our order. Our room was a considerable distance from the lobby and our phone didn't work. Fell asleep hungry and frustrated. Only thing nice was the shower and shuttle drivers.

A simple overnight stay booked through tickets at work turned into a aggravating and embarrassing hassle. I can't say enough about how accommodating the manager was with us in dealing with this third party payment . We used the room to stay over after going to an Iron Pigs ball game . The location was perfect for this , and also would be convenient to use the Lehigh Valley / Allentown air port . The room had a small refrigerator, coffee pot and a microwave which come in handy . Shower and hot water worked great . A little confusing finding our way around due to the size and the numbers on the floors. Breakfast had a hot choice served to you cafeteria style , I am sure for covid precautions, along with other self serve options . We did not use the pool or gym available . I would stay here again .

I stayed at the Days Hotel by the airport for a work-related trip and I found the staff to be professional and accommodating. They gave me great advice on food and restaurants in the area and they assured me of the safety in and around the hotel as a single woman staying alone. I chatted it up with the day and night staff and felt very comfortable. I would definitely stay again!

When I arrived it was not what I had expected. The staff was friendly. The staff at the reception were sometimes a bit withdrawn but if you initiate a conversation they were friendly.
The cleaning staff was exceptionally friendly. My room was cleaned every day, bed made and enough clean towels everyday.
Absolutely no complaints about the cleaning.
I even got an extra pillow when I asked for it.
The bed was firm and for me as a soft bed sleeper no problem at all. I slept very well.
The internet was fast and I had a strong connection inside and outside the building.
The room was a bit outdated if I compare it to other countries I've visited but for American standard it was fine. TV had more than enough channels and only once in a while I would hear a plane.
I got the impression that some guests have long stays in the hotel because some children went to school - not that this was disturbing.
The air-conditioning was a bit loud when running but it didn't disturb me.
This location was easy to reach by car and close to stores and highway.
I have two things that I would like to have seen differently. The bright white lights next to the bed. Less "bright white" is my preference.
The breakfast was the same everyday (fried potatoes with scrambled eggs). There were also cereals, bagel and toast available which were served on a paper plate with plastic fork and knife.
Two different loaves of bread would give you more variety.

We do have a direct line. The TripAdvisor rules do not allow me to give it out. I would google our hotel, and then it might be possible to see that information. I tried to post the phone number, but it would not let me. Thank you for understanding.
