We were impressed as soon as we drove into the farm. Everything was neat and tidy. There is a well-tended garden round the house which looked onto beautiful countryside and a field full of horses. Mrs Stotzfus the owner was very welcoming and gave us useful hints of what to visit and where to eat in the area. Our accommodation...

This is our second visit to Lancaster County and to the Olde Stone Guesthouse. The first time, we brought our girls, ages 7 & 10. We booked two rooms in the main house and had the upper floor all to ourselves. The second time, it was just me and my husband, and we were able to book the Spring House....

My wife and I have stayed two nights in the Spring house, which reminds me of a bird's nest - charming, and not much larger. Florence is an incredible host and wonderful people's person. She has spoiled us with lavish breakfasts and care. Giving us great tips and sharing her deep knowledge of the region and its cultures, she has...

This was a lucky find that also had availability for our late booking. (It helped that it was a mid week booking.) We stayed in the separate building, the Spring House which was very sweet. This was a perfect base to explore Lancaster County. Florence cooked delicious breakfasts and introduced us to scrapple, a local dish which is, probably, not...

We (family of four) stayed two nights at Florence's B&B and enjoyed it very much. Florence is wonderful, very attentive and made us feel right at home. We stayed in the two upper room in the main house. They are beautifully decorated and spacious and share a large and very nice bathroom. The breakfast is fantastic and home made, a...

We stayed at the Olde Stone Guesthouse for 3 nights with our 2 kids, and enjoyed every minute there. Florence is an amazing woman, who really knows how to make you feel welcome. Her breakfasts were heavenly (almost all is home made, and she even asked us if there is something we would like to have; the pancakes are the...

Breakfast is served family style in Florence's dining room, and the meal begins with prayer. If you have food allergies, Florence will work with you to provide great meals. The home canned grape juice was fantastic. Even simple breakfasts with oatmeal take on a unique flavor with fresh apples, dried fruit and other additions. The Primrose room has homey eclectic...

We stayed at Florence's B&B for one night on our drive through Lancaster County back to MA. It was our first time in a B&B in the US, and unlike many of the B&B we stayed at in Europe, this one was a true homey experience, with the needed privacy and comfort nevertheless (Florence lives in the house). We were...

We stayed for 3 nights at this quaint little Bed and Breakfast. We were a little skeptical because we have never stayed in a B&B before. But this place far exceeded our expectations and then some. We stayed in the Primrose Room. It was beautiful. When we arrived it was dark but Ms. Florence met us at the front door...
