The General Elliott is a gorgeous bed and breakfast right across the street from a polo field. Steve and Kaye are very gracious hosts who always come and talk to you at your table. The food is O K but the gorgeous outdoor atmosphere is worth it. I would not eat inside since one is very close to the kitchen-----unless...

Oh my goodness. What an experience. Had no idea what was in store for us. Wanted to pick something unique and different to celebrate my sister's and her husband's 50th Wedding Anniversary. Could not have picked a better place. The food was beyond excellent. Kay and Steve were wonderful. Told us some great stories and were not intrusive. We were...

From being greeted at the door till so nicely escorted at the end and all in between... The service was fast but not hasty. The food was superb. The staff was friendly and very correct. Good American food, wonderful high-end, European manners. We are of course coming back.

The place is beautiful, personal and classy. The surroundings are secluded and picturesque. The "pre-order" system is very convenient, and the food is excellent. The staff is professional and friendly, and the owners, Miss Kay and Steven are warm and highly professional. The best: no children and no loud people. The place calls for above average etiquette, so please, leave...

Wonderful people and excellent service. The food was outstanding. Our wedding rehearsal dinner turned out to be a great event. Very professional and courteous staff. We also stayed at the Inn for 2 nights. Kay and Steve treated us like family. The breakfasts were to die for. Would definitely recommend for anyone staying in the Augusta or Aiken area.

Staying at the General Elliott is like spending a night with good friends. There was a lot of attention to detail. The room was cozy with everything you could possible need including wonderful bathrobes. The food and service were great and we also got a few cooking tips. This is a special place to mark on your "must visit" list.

A friend and I stayed at the General Elliott Inn three nights, April 2-5, 2013. We were visiting Aiken on horse business and it was our first visit to this beautiful, quaint, and historic town. I'd read all the lodging reviews here on TripAdvisor and decided the GE suited our needs perfectly. It is also across a country road from...
