Detailed Reviews
We spent three nights here. The staff were friendly at check-in and said it would be cheaper if paying by cash or check versus using a credit card. The site was level. One plastic chair was provided that looked well worn, but it didn't matter as we had brought chairs. There was no fire ring. The bath house was dated, but clean and functional. Cable is not available. We had no trouble exiting with a 43' toyhauler fifth wheel.

I was supposed to be just passing through on my way back from New Orleans, but I got very ill; either food poisoning or some type of stomach bug. I can hardly remember the 48 hours I spent here holed up in my rv in the freezing cold. The lady from the front office, Becky is as amazing as a person can get. I called her to tell her that I was sick and needed to stay a second night and she asked me if I was okay and if I needed anything from the store. I asked her for a few bottles of Gatorade. She brought them to my van. I was so disoriented and out of it but I felt so comfortable because of this woman. That Gatorade kept me from getting dehydrated and I was way too disoriented to drive. The park was nice, site was level, quiet and price was good. Thank you Becky. Thank you thank you. 😃

So this is just a small scale little RV park, most seem to stay full time. Staff was friendly. Bathrooms were clean but just okay. They do not have a place for a campfire. No grills. Nothing to do. Just a bare bones place to stop. Serves its purpose for just passing threw. Wifi doesn't work, my husband hoped to get a little work done while there but couldn't connect. They do not have cable. Not a bad place, but just a quick stop and go. We stayed 2 nights.

Jane, Bud and their team are fantastic. We were evacuating from the hurricane on the holiday weekend and they took great care of us. They were full but they put us in their overflow and saved us. Great rate, comfortable setting and Tennessee friendly people!

We stayed here for one night on our drive back home to Ontario. We ended up booking this last minute and they only had one spot left. The owner was very nice and accommodating. Our site had full hook ups and was pull through. Bathrooms were just old and tired and there was a man sitting out front during the night which was weird. Wifi took a while to connect, but once I connected, it worked fine. The location is literally in the middle of nowhere. Abandoned hotels and a gas station are what you will find across the road. It will do for one night.

We were on our way to VA and stopped at Over-Niter RV park on the way and it was great. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The park is small, but it is exactly what we needed. It was quiet and clean. All the sites are pull-through, which made parking and hooking up very convenient. WiFi, cable and drainage were fine. We'll definitely stay again when we're in that area.

Vey small, quiet park. Basically a loop of about 16 RV hook-up sites. No frills. One bathroom bldg. The bathrooms definitely have that "campground" ambience to them....but they were very clean. My husband surprised 5 deer right by the bathrooms. Good for a "passing through" stop.

THIS IS NOT A RESTAURANT IT'S A CAMPGROUND!The sign for the campground isn't large, but the friendliness is. The campground is very near I75 on the north side of Athens also off of highway 11, south of Sweetwater. Knoxville is about an hour north, the Lost Sea in Sweetwater is about 8 or 9 miles away, and CHerohala Skyway in Tellico Plains is 20 miles. There are pull through sites as well as sites which require backing into. We stayed in 16, which is next to the woods, not far from the clean bathhouse, which is heated. There is a dump station, and hookups at each site. Great place to relax, or park here and visit family.THe owner didn't even insist on an exact checkout time on Sunday, just when we wanted to check out.Not expensive either, less than $30, and you get to visit the office cat, a huge gray tabby called Maze because he was found in a maze.
