My husband surprised me with this house all to ourselves for my birthday. It was so cozy and comfortable. Everything was very clean and neatly organized. There was a little traffic noise but not enough to be a distraction. Completely furnished, we were able to bring a few groceries and cook for ourselves. So relaxing!!!

I grew up in Abilene. I don't think I would have ever thought of it as a place to relax for a weekend while not visiting family. However, many of my girlfriends don't live in the same city. We are separated across Texas. While trying to find a placeto meet that was somewhat central to all, I ran across the...

While visiting family in Abilene, we were treated to a stay at "City Slickers", one of the Sayles Ranch Guesthouses. What a surprise! This beautifully appointed house is packed full of style and comfort. In a quiet neighborhood, not far from the downtown, it had everything a weary traveler could want or need. It is truly a home away from...

We have stayed at Sayles Ranch numerous times with a great experience each time. This visit we were fortunate enough to stay at City Slickers. As the website states, (saylesranch.com) this is the "swankiest" of the properties. Terry has a knack for decorating and creating a memorable atmosphere. The common area is great and able to accommodate a large group...

Every morning I woke up to an Alice in Wonderland experience. Beautiful home evidence of the creative genius of Mr Terry Browder, owner. There is a unique look to every room and the range of antiques to modern wi-fi and cable television blends like a dream. I love, love, loved it.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Decoration was thoughtful and comfortable. Terry very helpful with dining suggestions. Heavenly change of pace from standard hotel room. Convenient parking. Great concept for family gatherings.

We were moved from The Cotten Eyed Joe house due to an A/C prob. It was a wonderful house that we would have loved to stay in but the owner insisted on moving us to Claire Cottage where we would be more comfortable. These places are so amazing and well done. The decorating is a delight to the senses and...

I wanted to try something more comfortable than a hotel for my trip to Abilene and finding the Sayles Ranch was tthe absolute perfect choice. Even though we stayed there as a couple, I want to say that the house we stayed in would fit your needs no matter whom you are with. Everything went incredibly smooth from booking the...

For my son's wedding, we rented two Sayles Ranch Guesthouses for our relatives from out of town. Half of our family stayed at "City Slicker" and half at "Sayles Ranch". WOW is all I can say about these homes. City Slicker is a two story home with four bedrooms, 3 baths and a beautiful salt water pool in the backyard....

“go to their website and find the house that fits your style. we stayed in the Cottage Clare which is a 3 bedroom house. the neighborhood is quiet, the rooms are decorated perfectly, and even with that comfort is at the forefront of every room and everywhere you turn. from our experience, you can't go wrong with any of their houses. we felt right at home”
