This was my second stay at this particular Hotel in Allen and it did not disappoint. It was clean, staff were pleasant, there was plenty of parking, and the location is close to shopping and restaurants. You can not go wrong staying here.
I always stay at this location when visiting Allen, TX. It is new, clean and the service is great. They make the online booking process easy and convenient and the staff is always friendly. The rooms are clean and the facilities are modern.
Go here if you want to hear loud and crazy basketball teams, no respect for your sleep at 1am and calling the front desk twice to make the banging on the doors to eventually stop. We have a timeshare and stay at frequent Hyatt places. This was the worst, breakfast was cereal, bar was closed and basketball teams ran the show.
This place is amazing. Great location. Great service! Clean room-EVERY TIME! FRIENDLY STAFF! Lots of PARKING! Safe location! And breakfast!!! I travel for work and when I am in the Plano/Allen/Dallas area, I STAY HERE. I have the option to stay anywhere, I choose this location.
Love Hyatt, but this was the worst stay I've had since I was a college student with no budget, staying in a road-side motel. Super friendly staff, very clean facility, but my goal was to get rest at night. And when you put me in an adjoining room with teen girls there for a sports competition, there is no rest to be had. In all fairness, the girls weren't partying. They were just excited to be together and to hang out. The fault is that 1 - they put us in an adjoining room with a large room block of teen athletes, and 2 - the door/walls are so thin at this location on the adjoining rooms... that their conversation permeated our entire room at all hours. Almost like it seeped in and then bounced and echoed off our walls to be even louder. I can tell you from their conversations: what the girls ate for breakfast, what one girls' mom did to her hair last week, one girls favorite type of brandy, what one girl did with a boy at a party, etc. Their voices carried so loudly, that my husband and I didn't talk much because it was just so... awkward. Knowing we could hear them so clearly, and that they in turn would heard us so clearly. We asked the front desk to please move us (within minutes of arriving the first night), but the hotel was full. The girls weren't being inappropriate, so I felt bad for them just wanting to hang out and visit all night - it was really just poor quality room design. We stay in hotels often - Hyatts, Holiday Inn Express, Hiltons, Marriotts, and this was the worst quality we've ever encountered. I felt bad because I remember being young and wanting to visit with friends at night on trips, I bet they'd be mortified if they realized we were practically sitting in the room with them for all their conversations. Oh, and on our last night, they were up until about 2:30am and then back up at 6:30am to get ready for their day. Fortunately my husband had noise cancelling earbuds he put in and could fall back asleep. Me? Not so much. :( I actually turned my phone recorder on at one point so that I could play-back to the front desk staff - it's one thing to hear about a complaint, it's another thing to actually hear how bad it was. They were blown away at how loud the recording was and a bit embarrassed. They too could hear full on conversation, word for word, of the girls. They told me it was practice to never put regular hotel guests in adjoining rooms like that. Yeah... that would have been good practice to use.…
