We stayed in this hotel in 2014 and later I found out that the general manager of this hotel is from The Netherlands.I hated it that I missed him as I am from The Netherlands myself so I told myself if we ever go back I had to visit him. So this year, 1 week before New Year we decided...

Let me start with the positives, extremely clean, extremely comfortable, perfect location. The bathroom towels were very soft, oversized, and smelled good! I've stayed at many hotels and these were by far the best towels I've ever used!! I appreciate the effort this hotel staff goes to making the rooms clean and comfortable. I felt more like I was staying...

Hello Sarah, Thank you so much for your review. We are delighted that you enjoyed our towels. We like them too! I am going to do some research on the water pressure, because I haven't heard that before, and want to see if we can correct it. As for your room, you were actually staying in our smallest Standard King...

We took the road less traveled on our way through Texas and landed in Alpine. The Holland Hotel was highly recommended by the tourist information. The hotel was beautiful much like a boutique hotel. There was homemade breakfast with fruit and eggs for breakfast, a great bar. I enjoyed their holiday cocktail. We both enjoyed the small bite menu offered...

I only went to the Holland for my first choice, as there was an auction to be held here for Texas Ranger, H. Joaquin Jackson. I was pleasantly surprised by the old style building, right down to the original room doors! The room was small, but had everything needed; fridge, microwave, etc. the bed was very comfortable and quite warm!...

Growing up, our grandmother spoiled us by taking us on a fanciful trip every year. This year, the adult grandchildren decided to return the favor. The Holland Hotel was a tremendous pleasure, all the way around. Of course it was clean, but my mom and I loved the historical setting. The decor is both charming and sophisticated, especially the extensive stenciling on walls and ceilings. The room was just barely on the small side, but otherwise very comfortable. It reminded me a lot of European...
