We picked this hotel because it's availability on such a short notice. Overall, the rooms were clean and it included breakfast. The breakfast was the most amazing meal, but it has bacon, eggs, biscuits, fruit, and waffles. The staff had been super friendly and they have some cool art (that's for sale) displayed throughout the lobby. It's not in the...

Can't put my finger on what I don't like. All new furniture, but any repairs made in the room seem to be done by a very unskilled handyman. Bathroom could use an update but everything worked. Check in was brusque, but efficient. Carpet was a very industrial feeling carpet squares. In short I don't have much to complain about but...

Great breakfast. Could have done without the black widows. Good price. Staff was extremely friendly. We were able to get extra soap toothbrushes towels with no problem kids enjoyed their stay the decor was beautiful. Only complaint like I said before was the black widows. Little scary half the size of my palm hidden in the towels

This hotel was very reasonably priced for such a nice place. It is very clean everywhere, the rooms are large and the staff is very friendly. We asked for a non smoking room and got just that (I have had problems in the past of rooms smelling like smoke anyway with other hotels). It is quiet, you can't hear your...

Clean slightly worn but overall an ok hotel not a motel like so many of its local competitors. Staff are polite and helpful! Room was comfortable enough but a refurb will be needed a couple of years from now. In a good location for exploring Alpine

Stopped in this town to regroup before going onward to camp in Big Bend NP, so we thoroughly enjoyed all the amenities. As this was our first time in Alpine, we questioned the staff about places to eat and see. Especially delightful are all the murals around town!

Excellent staff - everyone was friendly and helpful and it seems everyone had a smile, even the people stocking the breakfast items. They smiled at everyone. Just that simple act made for a very welcoming experience. The room was clean and in great condition. There is no elevator but the flight up is short, so hubby managed even with his...

I stayed at this hotel for two nights to a full day trip to Big Bend National Park. The hotel exceeded all my expectations. The building is in a mixed American - Mexican style, with ethnographic frescoes in the lobby. Attentive and helpful staff, clean, well-maintained rooms and, of course, excellent nutritious breakfast with a wide selection to suit all...

On our way to Calif thru Big Bend Area of Texas from Mississippi in June 2015. Always travel w/our two dogs so it was nice to find a quite, friendly K-9 hotel. They even let my water loving Lab-Wippet swim with me in the pool. Great breakfast and friendly staff.

This property is now the Quality Inn Alpine. This is a very mid-range hotel on the far east edge of Alpine. It is very close to Sul Ross State University, but not much else is down on this part of town, especially eating choices. But, Alpine is a small town, so get in the car and in 5 minutes you'll...
