We spent a week at Rachel's Hancock modern house for our daughter's wedding celebration. There was plenty of space for our 5 adults and 2 kids. House was well stocked and very clean. Rachel was a pleasure to deal with. Would definitely return.

We visited Austin to attend our son's graduation from UT. There were four of us - my husband and myself, our adult son and his wife. The house was perfect! Close to the university and the grocery was super close. The guest cottage had a well equipped kitchen and sleeping quarters. The only thing better would be if we hadn't had...

We visited Austin for our cousin/nephew's wedding. This well laid out house with fun modern decor was a great place to congregate and relax while we popped back and forth to different wedding related events. The house has concrete floors throughout and a fun modern feel. It has a nice size vaulted family room area with cool modern fixtures a...

Our recent stay was at the "Guest Nest", the studio apartment cottage at the rear of the Hancock property. After much searching for Austin accommodation, this was the winner in terms of price and was certainly a good value. It has a stripped-down, Austin 'industrial quirky chic' feeling; lots of plywood and metal and hard surfaces. The studio setup makes...

Hancock Cottage's are an excellent choice over a hotel in Austin. Good location. Quick access to SoCo and lower streets. Fair amount of Car2go's near by. Not as many as in the core but that's wxpected. Nice to have your own kitchen and ensuite for each room. Beds were decent but a little soft for my likening. Nice private back...

A wonderful cottage in a fun part of Austin! The cottage is perfectly stocked with everything you need - a full kitchen, laundry, internet, tv, dvd, two bedrooms and baths. The neighborhood is extremely walkable with fun restaurants and coffee shops. The internet was very fast. My husband was able to work remotely. The sun room made a perfect office...

I stayed for a month. No car needed. The bus stop is around the corner and the HEB only seconds away. The studio has everything I needed for my stay. It's bigger than it looks at the pictures. The furniture and decoration is very tasteful. Rachel and Nick very nice and helpful people. I had a great time in Austin....

I stayed alone in the Hancock Loft Hideaway on East 43rd Street for three and a half months. I was travelling from the UK to study for a semester on a scholarship at UT. The loft hideaway is just fantastic. It was a lot bigger in real life that it appeared on the online photographs which was a pleasant surprise...

“We really loved our stay but I do recommend bringing your own pillows if you happen to be like me and are a little particular about the comforts of home! The guest nest is perfect and secluded with its own little patio, very private.”
