Hotel looks recently renovated. Rooms are EXTREMELY clean, Great Breakfast included. Good location near Downtown but not in Downtown and easy highway access. Most impressed with the staff. After reading the 'quite bad would not recommend review' I was leary but was pleasantly surprised. Really folks, I think that review was from a disgruntled guest who was looking to complain...

Good location if visiting UT without the downtown prices. Comfy bed and pillows, true with the Marriot line and low noise on first floor. It was nice to have a warm breakfast. Sarah T. provided the best service ever, went above and beyond to accommodate my requests; she deserves a raise or an award. We will return when visiting that...

This place looks very nice in the pics but it is absolutely not worth the cost and I would not recommend staying here. The people above us obviously had children, who were very loud (jumping off bed onto floor) around 7am. I complained to a man at the front desk since we are staying another night and he said there...

Clean, Reasonable priced. Good location. What more can I say. Close to downtown. Highway noise isn't that bad. Staff is nice and professional . What more could you ask for? There is a restaurant across the street that is convenient. You could pick worse places to stay. In this area, this is one of the better choices.

The service here was good. Great breakfast, easy check-in, and average room. Not much in terms of amenities... I went to the hotel next door for a drink. It's right next to a highway, but still pretty quiet.

If you are in town for music or restaurants and just need a place to sleep and shower, this hotel is perfect. It's nice and better than average in spite of the 3 stars but it IS basic. So what if they don't have Frette sheets or fold the toilet paper just so! There are plugs in the lamp bases,...

My company recently booked 10 rooms there for a conference. One of my coworkers arrived at 11:30pm. The hotel told him they were overbooked and booked him into a Days Inn 15 minutes north. He had to get a taxi to the Days Inn and arrived at midnight. When he got there, they told him the booking from the Fairfield...

This hotel was appropriate for my visit to Austin on business, but missed on a few marks. My room wasn't ready upon arrival, even though I had already checked in with the new Marriott app. Thankfully, a friendly front desk rep had me in a room in 30 minutes. Also, when I got in the room I went to use...

My wife and I visited Austin for the first time the weekend of November 5-8. At first we felt like we were settling a bit for our hotel location/choice because of lack of vacancy due to so many events in town filling hotels. But upon arrival we found it to be very different. From the extensive time that Lonnie spent...

My husband and I stayed at the Fairfield to attend a concert on the UT campus.
