My husband and I spent an evening at the Adams House B&B. It was our first experience at a b & b because we've tended to stay at hotels with pools, restaurants, etc. We had a wonderful time and would gladly stay again. The owners are gracious and knowledgable about the area. The rooms were clean and spacious and the...

There's no greater gift in today's fast-paced world than feeling completely relaxed and comfortable. I went for a last minute getaway to the Adams House B&B and had the best night's sleep in weeks. I stayed in the William T. Adams suite and marveled at the large sun porch, huge bathroom, and soft towels and linens. The bed was so...

My husband and I spent the weekend at the Adams House B & B for our wedding anniversary. It was by far one of the best B & B's we have stayed at. We stayed in the bungalow. It was very clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was delicious. The staff was great and we felt that they took customer...

The Elizabet Ney museum is 2 blocks from the Adams House. Elizabet Ney was a European sculptor that settled in Austin. What a privilege to discover her work by staying at the Adams House! The birds and the gardens in the neighborhood were lovely. Great location to easily get downtown in 15 minutes or so. Loved our cottage with the...

I hardly write reviews, but this place deserves a BIG thumbs up. This place is really wonderful. I took my best friend here for her birthday. When we walked in, we immediately felt at home. The decor is beautiful with the right blend of modern, mid-century and traditional styling. Our room was comfy, beautiful, clean and the sun room was...

My husband and I spent 2 nights in the bungalow. The bedroom has a peaceful "Zen" like decor which is a nice break from the Victorian style seen in most B&B's in Austin. The bungalow provides quick and easy access from our car parked on the street (great for when I have to run back because I have forgotten something!)....

The inn combines the best of classical, welcoming elegance with modern comfort and convenenience, seasoned with the gracious and friendly hosts. Breakfast was fine, air conditioning and water pressure to the top standard. The surrounding neighborhood is walkable and inviting. An outdoor roofed patio area with fans and comfy furniture was a great place to savor a cigar and cocktail.

The hospitality could not have been better. I traveled with my 85 year old mother and we stayed in the bungalow. This gave both of us adequate space and separate sleeping quarters. I loved the use of the covered outside patio as well. Eric and Liz were wonderful. The weekend breakfast was very good and fresh. I will be returning...

We enjoyed Adams House, located centrally it gave us a great base in a quiet neighborhood to explore Austin. The room was comfortable but the creaking floors made us a little self-conscious when moving around on or off the bed. Breakfast was great, and got our days off to the right start. Liz had some great insights into the local...

Howdy from Austin and thanks for the review. The floors creak - I'm not going to lie! A 100 year old house will have some creaky floors but take heart - there are no guests below you so feel free to walk around as much as you want the next time you stay. Also, we fixed the squeaky stair issue...
