Wonderfully quiet and elegant accommodations. Limited service, but that was perfect. Close to so many east Austin greats - coffee, BBQ, and other restaurants. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Bikes available to get around. Very close to the town lake bike and running trail. Could not recommend this place more if you are looking to spend time in east...

If you're looking for a small boutiques place this is a must try. Hospitality amazing- they go way overboard to make your stay feel like home. Clean nice rooms -super comfy and nice outdoor patio and chair swings to relax in. Mile from city center-amazing foodie restaurants nearby.

Seriously my only regret is that I couldn't stay longer. Found this little gem in an effort to take work colleagues out for a fun night in Austin and man oh man I'll be back on personal time. Completely Austin "chic" and the staff could not be any better. This is a little hidden gem!!!!

What a fabulous inn on the hip east side of Austin. Walking distance to everything and loads of fab recommendations from the friendly and accommodating staff. I was provided with lovely local decaf in a French press so that I could make my own coffee in the early am before staff arrives. They were so thoughtful after I raved about...

Had the great pleasure of staying at the Heywood for the first time earlier this month for a one night romantic staycation getaway with my girlfriend. I was blown away by how nice the accommodations were. It's amazing what a great job the architects/designers did packing in this sweet little hotel into such an efficient footprint. It looks tiny from...

My wife and I stayed at The Heywood in August and can't say enough about the warmth and hospitality of the staff, not to mention our overall great experience at the property. It's very well designed, quaint and oh so charming. We also absolutely loved the free use of their bicycles! Thanks Heywood - you guys are cool!

Awe Heywood, our sister city home. We love this place and would never consider staying anywhere else while it is operating. East Austin is thriving and in the 2 years since our last visit it has exploded with new businesses that you have a smorgasboard of good times at your door step. Off street carparking, luxurious linens and comfortable beds...

We loved staying at the Heywood last weekend: Kathy and her staff are warm and welcoming, our room was fabulous, and the hotel is just bliss. It is everything you would ever want of a small boutique hotel. And more. We lived in Austin for two years, and so we're a bit biased against the craziness of 6th Street. The...

The Heywood is a really lovely, hip little hotel (only 6 rooms) in the somewhat grungy neighborhood of East Side, Austin on up and coming E. Cesar Chavez St. We loved the place and the neighborhood. Try it, you'll like it. We went out on foot every morning for breakfast: there are the usual food trucks but do NOT miss...

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights - as part of our honeymoon - and loved every minute. It's a beautifully decorated and modern hotel, with just 7 rooms, and it feels very private and personal. The staff couldn't have been more helpful (before & during our stay), they clearly know the city inside-out and provided a number...
