Brava House is conveniently located to everything you will want to do and see in Austin! It is also the most economical lodging choice downtown -- a beautiful historic house at an affordable price! My fiance and I stayed for four nights in April.. it was my second trip to Austin and I wanted to show him everything I loved... More

Nick is a great host, friendly, considerate and a good breakfast cook! The suite was spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom might not have the amenities of a hotel but I don't expect that always with a B&B. The location put us in walking distant of hip W. 6th St, the Graffiti Park and the river walking trail and pedestrian... More

Beautiful house with large windows, stunning woodwork and lovely & comfortable furniture. Peaceful neighborhood of Craftsman-style homes in the Gustav Stickley style - each one is different - excellent walking area with parks and shops nearby. If you're a walker, it's a pleasant walk to the State Capitol (remember there's a hill coming back). Nick serves a delicious breakfast (every... More

Brava House is a lovely B&B where you can experience living in a charming, quiet Austin neighbourhood, but still be close to downtown, where all the fun is. It really has the best of both worlds. We chose this place for its rave reviews, location and free parking. We booked the Van Gogh room, which is located at the back... More

This is a well managed b&b, comfortable and well located. We were able to walk to 6th Street and beyond (Congress Avenue---you have to get past the bar scene to find good restaurants). The property is located in pleasant quiet historic neighborhood, and it's a lot of fun just to wander around looking at houses. Good lunch spots nearby. Good... More

We stayed four nights in the Van Gogh room on the first floor, a newer addition to the historical house, with a private bathroom. It was as cozy as can be, with lots of light, quiet air conditioning, a tv, and small refrigerator. The home-made-from-scratch breakfasts were delicious. Nick is very knowledgeable about all things Austin, and that's a plus... More

Our experience at Brava House was absolutely wonderful! Nick is a wonderful host, and the breakfasts he made were different and delicious each morning. The location is unbeatable. My boyfriend and I were there for SXSW, and we were able to walk downtown while still feeling like we were in a quaint little oasis. Newbies to Austin, Nick provided us... More

Stayed three nights in the Monroe room. Quiet, quaint accommodations with ample room. Nick is a great host. Location is perfect for walks along the lake in the morning and for visiting many interesting shops and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again.

The Brava House is a delightful place to stay in Austin. It is super clean, and the second floor is like sleeping in the trees. Breakfast is yummy, and Nick is a wonderful host. Also it is close to many of Austin's venues. You cannot go wrong staying here.

Our stay was fantastic. Can't say enough about this super B and B. The accommodations were great. Super room that was clean and beautiful. The surrounding area is quaint with more beautiful homes and great area to walk. To us though the young man, Nick, who took the B and B over from his Mom is the best part of... More
