Stayed here while on a college tour with my daughter. The hotel is nice, clean and historic. Bar is fun, hopping, good people watching and a fun place to get a drink. The room was nice, beds comfortable and sheets great. Space worked pretty well with 2 girls getting dressed. The valet was SLOW, only one guy would run to...

We really enjoyed the hotel, bar and breakfast. Breakfast was delicious and reasonably priced. It is conveniently located and was easy to get around. We were there for a wedding and the event was amazing.

...and glad that I finally did. The Driskill is such an Austin icon and was just as nice as I hoped. The service was excellent and rooms met all expectations. I just love the bar on the second floor as well. Even if you do not stay here stop in for a (pricey) drink here.

Loved the hotel, staff and location. Bar was good for smaller groups, yet does not handle large groups well. Staff seems to be non- accommodating to over 8. Too bad as it's a really cool area of the old hotel that has tremendous history with live music.

We wanted to love the Driskill -- perhaps the staff was having an off day or three. When we arrived three young bellhops watched my gray-haired husband struggle with the luggage. There is no luggage assistance apparently. One fellow opened the front door for us without making eye contact or offering a greeting. At check-in, the front desk was backed...

The Driskill is a hotel on Brazos Street in downtown Austin at the intersection with Sixth Street. This is a great location if you are visiting Austin and want to be right downtown. Although it is part of the Hyatt hotel empire, it is not a cookie-cutter franchise hotel. It goes back to 1886, and retains its nineteenth-century architecture, interior,...

If you are human, you will love the Driskill. Ontologically, the scene keeps you (the agent) safe in any act. Epistemologically the agency (method, language, instrumentality) gives purpose to attitude of guaranteed privilege. If you feel overcharged for a service that you do not approve, then contact customer support (via telephone or face-to-face) for remedy and thus reconciliation.
