What a spectacular country inn! Our hosts were spectacular and Tims breakfasts were tremendous. The B & B is perfectly appointed, close to Manchester and Bennington. We look forward to our next visit in the fall!

This review is truly an accolade about the owners of this inn. The heart of this home is the warm , wit , and care that Kevin and Michael exemplify . You will feel you are a treasured guest and that your comfort and needs are quietly observed and addressed without fanfare or comment . The touches of love these...

Always enjoyed Ira Allen House. Keep coming back. Just had another wonderful stay. The setting beautiful (esp when compared with Manchester, it's so peaceful), the Inn cozy and full of character, and the host warm, and gracious. Will definitely come back!

Gracious hosts and wonderful history all wrapped up in a historical home. We visited for the Holiday Inn tour - decorated perfectly. We liked the way the bathrooms were tucked into cute little spaces and every room was different.

The place gets better with each visit! The guys are awesome, the atmosphere is wonderful. It's cozy sitting by the fireplace; both in our room and in the tavern area. The food is magnificent! This place is a great place to stay to go visit many places. We stayed in two rooms this time. We always LOVE the Remember Baker...

I have stayed at the Ira Allen House on multiple occasions over the past three years during different seasons - and I'm never disappointed. Breakfast changes daily, and it's always one of the highlights of the day. (For example, I loved the made-from-scratch strawberry muffins from earlier today.) I've had the pleasure of staying in almost every room onsite, but...

I literally have nothing to add to that which all the prior reviews already state: this is a really nice getaway. Although let me add its a dream to visit with a little child of 4. What better way to get the child to understand Fall and different terrains than to take him out of san diego and into vermont....

We stayed for 2 nights at the Ira Allen Bed & Breakfast and was very pleased with the experience and price. It's an old house, originally built by Ira and Ethan Allen (of Revolutionary War fame, but NO relation to the furniture), and very easy to find. They've 4 rooms available, we stayed in the Abigail's Suite, which was very...

This is our first trip to Vermont and The Ira Allen Inn was our first bed and breakfast on our 6 day tour around the state. We were the only people staying because a big party canceled so they upgraded us to their nicest suite without an up charge. Mike and Kevin were so nice and funny and very very...

Poor Michael and Kevin must be fed up with my superlative reviews of their lovely Inn - but having just stayed there again in September, just had to include another. We stayed in the 'Abigail Suite' on this visit. The room was really delightful - a new color scheme of soothing green and cream really enhanced the space, as did...
