Great experience. Wonderful hosts, breakfast, room. Close to everything. Other couples staying in more popular inns did not enjoy their accommodations as much as ours. Interesting house history as well. Homey atmosphere. Interesting guests.

I always enjoy visiting historic sites, so staying at a place that was built in 1779, and had belonged to the Allen family was a real treat! I had looked forward this one night stay on our way to Maine, and it didn't disappoint! The owners were both quite personable, friendly, and added to the enjoyment of the stay. The...

I chose this B&B based on its age and history. It's the real deal -- built in 1779. Michael & Kevin are superb hosts. We felt comfortably at home throughout our five night stay. It's not luxurious, it's not shiny and new, but that's exactly why we're here. Breakfast is incredible. Starts with locally produced yogurt & fruit and goes...

The Ira Allen Inn is a gem of a B&B located minutes from Manchester. The home is warm, inviting and provides just a lovely New England setting. Innkeepers Michael & Kevin were most hospitable and accommodating. It's evident they love their home and hosting. As info, breakfast is VERY filling and fresh. Farm to table to tummy!

We had the privilege of spending 3 nights at the Ira Allen house and thoroughly enjoyed it. The history of the house and the house itself is amazing. It is located in a beautiful area of Vermont. Everything was spotless and cozy. And the breakfast - in a vacation of excellent food, our breakfasts were the highlights. Loved talking with...

Every review I read glowed with superlatives, and so richly deserved. The ambience - warm and cozy; the breakfast - fantastic, with fresh ingredients and homemade quality; the beds - very comfortable and the host, Mike - helpful, friendly and welcoming. Mike and Kevin obviously work hard to make this place the gem it is, and are deserving of the...

Last week my husband and I went to Williamstown for a matinee. We booked the Ira Allen House for that evening. It is lovely easy ride about 40 minutes from Williamstown. The home was built in the 1700s and the original floors and ceiling beams are amazing. The place is comfortable and homey. Michael, one of the owners, greeted us...

This B&B is wonderfully located south of Manchester. The House is steeped in history about which the owners will tell in short stories at breakfast. The rooms are a mix of suites and singles, all on the second floor so inaccesible if unable to climb the staircase. The rooms offer air conditioning, comfortable bedding and upgraded bathrooms with shower stalls....

This B&B was simply perfect for our one night stay during a long road trip. Michael was so personable and generous within his residence that we felt very special as guests. We had a picnic on the grounds in front of the house, a canoe ride on the river and slept very well in the clean, quiet and lovely rooms....

We spent 2 nights here, and wish we could have stayed longer! Stayed in the Remember Baker Suite, and really enjoyed the space. Queen bed, fireplace in sleeping area, a little sitting room with a day bed, full bath with shower, and a separate room with a tub! Nice private deck overlooking wooded area. Large TV, and most of all,...
