Perfect spot for all year around stay. The house is beautiful, very well maintained, near all attractions of the Green Mountains. Michael and Kevin are excellent hosts, and cooks. Breakfast was delicious and the place couldn't be cozier. We will definitively go back to enjoy the other seasons too.

Charming, cozy, comfortable, and friendly. In many ways, we chose the inn because of location and price, both of which were good. However, we were very pleasantly surprised by the wonderful hospitality and delicious food! Homemade maple cookies on arrival; yoghurt from the farm down the street; warm fires in every room; lovely hosts. We will definitely stay again.

My husband, two daughter and son-in-law all met at Ira Allen House for Christmas. Although we didn't have snow, Tim, "chef extradinaire" made up for it. The food was wonderful and Tim had no problem with gluten and dairy free and vegetarian diets. The rooms were comfortable and the setting was very relaxed. The house was fully decorated for Xmas.

We had a wonderful stay at the Ira Allen House. Michael was a lovely guy and a great breakfast cook. The room was super comfy and full of character. I would definitely return. This was our first time to Vermont and Michael was very helpful in ensuring we got the most from it.

We stayed here for a weekend recently (in two rooms), for a nearby wedding. We felt so comfortable and at home - exactly what you would hope for in a B&B. Our only regret was that, since we were so busy with the wedding, we were not able to spend as much time here as we would have liked. Kevin...

Another great year, another great vacation, another great stay. Really missed seeing Kevin, but Michael was a great host. The food was excellent and Reid loved the mac & cheese. Thanks for the emergency dinner when I was sick. Always a pleasure and looking forward to next summer!
