We really had a great time at Quimby's. The property is absolutely beautiful and we even saw a moose! The staff was outstanding - everything was spotless and they were always accommodating and cheerful. The food was also fantastic. The cabins are a bit run down and 2 of the 3 beds in our cabin were very uncomfortable.

We first came here with my mother, two nephews, three sons and me. This was our forty first year. Quimbys accommodated my family ever since. I waited for the boys to complain about the lack of night life, I watched them uae the camp to measure their future wives, and I watched my grandchildren fall for the magic. In this...

The northeast corner of the northeast kingdom of Vermont is as close to nowhere as anywhere and exactly where you will find the most beautiful, tranquil home away from home- Quimby Country. I have been going to Quimby Country ever since I was 6 months old, continuing a tradition of over 60 years that my grandfather began. Every year I...

The best place to disconnect and recharge. We have been going for a few years and we look forward to it for months in advance. It's a welcoming place for all ages and the activities. It's unique and has stood the test of time.

I was invited to a wedding at Quimby's. I was excited when I pulled down the long driveway to see an old country farmhouse with a big wrap around porch and lots of rocking chairs. The cottage I was assigned was perfect and quaint for what I needed. We had plenty of room, and it was charming. There were lots...

We stayed at Quimby because my very good friend's wedding was there. What a treasure this place is! We were only able to stay two nights but we got the most out of it. The views were beautiful. My daughter enjoyed kayaking and if we had more time I would have loved to hike. Our cabin (Ginger Quill) was clean...

Quimby Country has been the focal point of my family's year since the 1940's. Located in an area of extraordinary and untouched natural beauty, the lodging is simple, but pristine and comfortable, and the food is fantastic. At Quimby's time stops, days melt away slowly, whether you spend your time reading on a porch, picking up a tennis game, hiking...

Quimby provides a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere for family adventures. We hiked, canoed, kayaked, swam and fished by day and enjoyed bingo and square dancing by night. The setting is beautiful, the staff pleasant/ helpful and the food was great. I will be back in the fall.

I've been going to Quimbys for all 17 years of my life, oh and my family? Close to 80 now. But there's something that just never dies at Quimbys. And that is the spirit, the spirit of the staff and the spirit of the people.

“Each cottage is unique with various combinations of bedrooms, porches, living rooms, tub bath or shower. All are very old and heated with wood stoves if needed. Part of the charm is the simplicity of the cottage. Dog friendly but bring your own hairdryer if you need one.”
