We were so fortunate to have 5 nights in the spacious, spectacularly comfortable and immaculately clean Mankin House Cottage of Le Bleu Ridge B&B. The bed was marvelously comfortable which we needed after our full days visiting Presidential homes: Jefferson, Madison, Monroe and Woodrow Wilson. What an amazing area to visit - so full of history - and Le Bleu...

My husband and I stayed here this past weekend (July 15 - 17) while in the area for another wedding. Ask Marcel to tell you the history of the building, it's pretty fascinating! We were in the Blue Moon Room on the 1st floor. Our room was spacious, clean and very nice. The bed was a little on the hard...

.A wonderful B&B without peer in the Afton Mountain area of Virginia.....my wife and I enjoyed the great French breakfasts(which are worth the price of the room), and our hosts, Marcel, and the chef Danielle were more than accomodating. Close to nine wineries, two breweries, two meaderies, two cideries, and a new distillery! Take a long weekend to enjoy the...

We had the chance to stay in the Blue Moon room for an evening after hiking and touring the local breweries. Le Bleu Ridge is perfectly located between several area vineyards and breweries and happens to a vineyard tasting room right on the property. The owners are from Canada and bring a flavor of breakfast unique to the area. The...

My boyfriend and I stayed in the Sunset Room over Memorial Day weekend. The room and bed were comfortable with a decent amount of privacy because it was the only guest room on the second floor. The bathroom is not attached and did not have a shower (the antique bath tub was a fun experience though.) The B&B has a...

...close to all of the wineries, cideries, and good restaurants; Monticello; hiking trails; and yet only a short drive from Charlottesville, VA, is the 1840's farmhouse, which hosts Danielle and Marcel have opened as a B&B. During my four night's stay, everything was perfect. The breakfasts were excellent, innovative, and flexible. I use soy milk, and the use of the...

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Le Bleau. Danielle was an outstanding host and was so nice and friendly with us. She changed the breakfast menu for us and made us a custom breakfast and adjusted the time to better fit our schedule. You will not find a better place to stay anywhere. We plan on making...

Great place to stay if visiting wineries, in fact one is located on the premises.. Flying Fox winery. Room very nice, great shower and bathroom. Breakfasts made by Danielle were some of the best we have ever had in a B&B setting. Dogs on premises, but are kept away from guests unless you want to see them.

We stayed in the Mankin House, the cottage on the property, for four nights. It was delightful! Danielle, the innkeeper, is lovely and a wonderful chef - breakfasts were culinary masterpieces. The cottage is beautifully appointed and comfortably furnished. The property is located on "Alcohol Alley," the affectionate name for the Route 151 corridor that houses multiple wineries, breweries, and...
